ok,so its been two days since my cousin has been trying to hook up a multiple spark discharge 5 unit in my 3sge.we tried running it with all of the wiring diagrams provided with the MSD but none worked.it used to be fitted on a 18R mazda cozmo and used to shoot flames on the carby motor:D.the thing is, in one of the wiring diagrams given, the engine is able to start just for a split second but then gets cut off.is there anything i need to upgrade in the car to get the MSD to work??cuzzy told me that the ECU was cutting off the motor..i seriously dnt know.please help.....

I'm using MSD 6a and I have a Tach Adapter on my 3rd Gen 3SGE. Otherwise, it won't work. I'm not sure if you also need one for an MSD 5. Check it out at the MSD website to be sure. |
