It should fit, just make sure its of 225mm with 6 spuck and 20 teeth or spine. Think you will be fine

Think you will be fine thanks. and im aware my celica doesnt have the torque or power to benefit much from the stage 3 clutch. but im doing an auto to manual swap and im wondering if this is fine for my celica. only mods i have are short ram intake, headers, and custom 2.5 piping with a greddy evo 2 muffler |

i have a stage 1 street disc and it helps a bunch mostly when it warms up
but it will work as long as the motor in the mr2 was a 5sfe you would have too ask -------------------- |

you know that a stage 3 clutch is very very touchy right? what do you mean by touchy? isnt it like super stiff?..haha sorry if its a noob question. i dont understand much about the Stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, and racing clutch thing. can someone tell me what the difference between those are? |

by touchy i mean its stiff as **** and has almost no give at all to it, just stick with a oem clutch, or get a stage one, not that we even need it

i can still get my stage 1 too slip if i completely mess up and its not stiff at all
id say go for it.. it wont be that bad and it will hold up a better to stress than a oem clutch/ IE.driving fast -------------------- |

Kyle is right. You better start working out right now because your clutch pedal is going to be stiff. Yes, the clutch will help get a little more power to the wheels, but there will be a lot of clutch chatter. Takeoffs will not be nearly as smooth as an OEM clutch. Unless you plan on building a monster 5S-FTE, you're better off with a Stage 1 clutch. You sacrifice driveability with a stiffer clutch.

Good call, Manny. I forgot to elaborate. I said it helps get more power to the wheels, but not that it creates more power. It just loses less power. Agreed 100% though, anything over a Stage 1 clutch on a basically stock engine is overkill.
