QUOTE Huge Power, its idling great, unfortunately Im not taking it over 3,500rpm yet. Modified 3s-ge OEM ecu programming seems to be working just fine wow taking it up to 3,500 rpm? my friends wouldn't take theirs above 3,000rpm after a recent rebuild. pics of engine installed engine is built to be beaten, it can handle a little more, not to mention keeping it below 3k rpm when any pressure on the petal is NOT an easy task got a c-one authenic bumper locally, once its installed I will get u a front end pic! hopefully in the next hour This post has been edited by Mstoochn: Nov 1, 2009 - 11:38 PM |

I really hope that pic was used to demonstrate what a C-ONE kit looks like, but apparently not since you just edited the picture out of your post.

QUOTE engine is built to be beaten, it can handle a little more, not to mention keeping it below 3k rpm when any pressure on the petal is NOT an easy task true it might be built to do that, but your doing a run in... that last part doent really make any sense. EDIT: QUOTE (6GC forum rules) 5. Don't call people out on whether or not they have what they say they have on their car. If people really have what they have, they'll post pics eventually in most cases, and if they don't, oh well, just live your life and don't worry about them. Just live life and don't get all worked up about whether or not someone on a website has what they say they have.

Sorry if you think that I was calling you out. I didn't say you do not have what you say you have. It was just unusual to me that you took other people's photos, "photoshopped" them, and tried to pass them off as your own.
GL with your build dude, but i'd still like to see some pics of your own, 5sgte's dont happen too often. -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

Looks like someone didn't want to notch the oil pan with a combo of stock main bolts and arp main studs. I wonder if the torque specs will mess with anything.

looks the same as this: I found it on here >>> http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1368439 but originally from here as well as other engine work such as your black painted block etc... http://www.turbomr2.com/MR2/HowTo/Engine_U.../Images/Engine/ looks like someones MR2 build? Not trying to "stomp on your thread" just want to know whats going on? This post has been edited by Rusty: May 16, 2010 - 11:45 PM -------------------- |

In a nut shell this guy Dave owns a turbo'd MR2, has removed, rebuilt and installed his 3S-GTE and has documented it on this site. Dave's MR2 Page I've sold my 1993 MR2 Turbo (July 2006), but I'm planning on leaving this site mostly intact for some time. Update 12-15-2006: Hosting for this site is provided by MR2.com. We thank Dave for his contributions to the MR2 community. -------------------- |
