After the Ninja Bitch (95' ZX6R), Ninja Bitchlet (07' EX250), last weekend I got myself a 2002 GSXR600. Since it's yellow and black I call it my Bumble Bitch.

17K on the clock, smooth ride, fairings are in ehh conditions.

I saw this on Facebook the other day and I thought it was you, but I was never sure. I hadn't known for a while because of the Asian characters. tongue.gif

Nice pickup.

I loved my 03 GSXR600.... What a great bike. A little on the heavy side, but a great bike still.

Nice pickup!

First of all, I would like to declare myself a commuter. I don't do anything fancy with these bikes, so my opinions are nothing other than riding straight on the freeway, or riding straight in local street tongue.gif

I can't compare to my old 95' ZX6R because I was constantly having problems with that bike, to a point any little tiny unusual sound or jerk will leave me wondering if the bike is dying. The bike died on the freeway TWICE, so the only memory of me with that bike was just me being extremely paranoid. Hence the reason why I sold it.

Compared to the Ninja 250, it is night and day... but then it is more of a 250 vs 600 comparison. Aside from speed, freeway riding is a lot more peaceful and smooth on the 600 with those fat ass tires. None of those creeps and cracks on the freeway bothered me like they did with a 250. Riding position is a ****ing pain on these supersports, one thing I miss about riding the 250 is the more relaxed riding position. For local street riding, I loved the 250 more than the 600s. Easier to lane share cuz the bike is skinnier, it doesn't accelerate fast so you have a lot more room for throttle error. Other than that... they're all good.

Nothing major, they are all minor problems due to the bike being old. Like, there was one time the bike died in the middle of the freeway, and turned out it's just because of the stupid spark plug wires were old and corroded. Changed them, and the bike started up ok ran ok again. Little things like that, but A LOT of those little things were going on lol

Awesome pick up.

I have an '02 Zx-6R, and the riding position is definitely less comfortable then a 250. If your just commuting I would have passed on a sports bike for something a little more rider friendly. The longest "straight ride" I do, is 25 to 30 minutes on a major local roadway to work. The sports bikes are just not entertaining to me in a straight line, like yes...the 600 is wicked quick compared to the 250, but the ability to be aggressive in corners mike these bikes a lot more entertaining.

I think u should take it out for a cruise on some windy back roads. (and u don't need to be doing 80mph to enjoy them...35 and 40mph will be sufficient)

Good luck with it

edit: and your hands will get used to leaning on them so much.

Took it to PCH and it was FUN biggrin.gif

Just to clarify, we rode along with traffic within acceptable speed limit.
