Installed the clock filter (looks great) and swapped out the glove box lock. Still looking forward to this weekend!
BTW....WTF happened to that crow bar?

I was installing a PhoneMachine Canopy (keypad thingy and the big metal thing it sits on~ for those ignorant to the terms of automated gate systems. it's what i do for a living though) and a few Bollards (the post thing that's heavy gauge steel and full of concrete that protects the Phonemachine canopy) for a new install axcess gate.

Anywho~ there was some street bleed-off (excess concrete slab or street) BEHIND the curb where i was digging. So i ran my jack hammer and cleared it out. Found a random peice of Rebar about 22-24 inches deep (WAY benieth where the concrete ends {usualy 6-8inches concrete stops from surface}) so i figured it couldn't be related. Probably just junk thrown down durring construction. (happends 100 99.9% of the time)

So i slid the crow bar under it to pull it out.

DIDNT PULL!

so i grabed some dirt to dry/texture grip my hands. and HEAVE

Crowbar is now bent.

As i told easternpiro via text earlier~

Today I put the front license plate on the IS because the state of Illinois requires it by law for whatever reason and because I don't want to get swarmed by cops again. That wasn't cool. Now the car looks something like this:

Few things....one, like how you used the stock hose for the CAI (now if someone else here can figure that out?), two I hate front plates...Texas has been back and forth with getting rid of them.
So what did I do today....
Drove to different bodyshops for estimates to fix my "Target cart of death" dent. I never knew fixing one dent could run upward of 500! Heck that's close enough for a Macco respray! Two, saw that Celica again that has been haunting me all around town (posted to).

finished the last pieces of my inter ( red and black ) and put most of it back in, have to take everything back off to install my dash harness when i get it, Looked at my car with pity bc it hasnt been drivin in about 3 months bc of bad wiring. I went to the junkyard and found a shiftboot orginal and put my black one with red stitching over it to match my interior and snapped it in to make it look nice. And i decided to go ahead and run all my wires for my system ( professionally ) so all my wires were invisible. And tmo im washing and waxing it even tho it doesnt run and im taking the hood ff to make it easier to pull the engine lol

Changed the oil yesterday in prep for a short road trip, and chastised myself for letting the interior get so dirty, so I took care of that today.

Just ran some 4 gauge wire to the back for the amps. Found a pair of jdm scissors still in the package wedged in behind the glovebox. Awesome
