So my car decided she could take on an 18 wheeler's tire today. She lost Cosmetically, the damage is very minimal, I just need to replace the bumper and passenger fender. The reason this is on the suspension, etc. thread is because my right wheel took a pretty heavy hit from that tire and now it has negative camber and my alignment is off. I know that's a bit vague, but could you guys tell me what sort of problems a hit like that may cause? I've already gotten CV joint/axle, control arm, strut, and wheel hub from my friends, I just want to see what you guys think. Thanks!

depending on what got bent, sometimes the places where the a arm meets the frame is bent also. So inspect the mounting spots and see if anything else is damage. Its also not uncommon to bend a strut or tie rods.

Yes, I bet your strut folded in towards the body a bit. Common to see this in accidents where the wheel was hit, usually bends right where the piston rod enters the strut cartridge.

Right on target, guys. Thankfully, the damage is minimal. The strut is indeed bent, but I already paid for the Megan coilovers so I just need to play the waiting game. Also, the wheel is bent as well. I'm gonna see if I can find a cheap set that look great, might as well replay all of them. Thanks!
