what the hell il give it a shot

well first on my list is to fix my front end if you met me before you know what i mean i have a slight problem ...
then i want to build the car from the ground up suspension all out hopefully when that is done i will be ready for a swap
i was thinking 4agze but im doubting it now and thinking 3rd gen 3s (just cant deny the numbers) GT-4 front end 2 post coupe spoiler with custom raiser blocks curren tailights all for a GT-2 coupe wink.gif and maybe eventually a GT-4 coupe AWD ftw!

Love this sucker to death! My favorite car that I've ever driven, been in, or seen around town.
I plan on keeping it after my college adventures, and plan on getting new rims.
Chrome has to go.
Lowering it for sure.
Probably do a 3sgte swap, I can see that in my future easily.
Also i would love to do a GT-4 conversion, except I do not plan on putting Raiser Blocks on.
JDM tails, or maybe I'll just slap on some splitters, either way, it won't remain stock for very much longer.
I'll definitely make a progress thread in the next few years.
This car is the new trend.

I took that shot with a cellphone btw. I find it stunning.

This is only my second car, but I am completely in love with it!

This is how she use to look:

This is how she looked after I got into an accident:

This is how she looks after I took the front end apart:

My plans right now are to get all the parts for the front end and rebuild it by the end of the summer.
Then paint the parts black with spray paint for the time being, but make it look nice.
I will get a new paint job when I get the money for one.
My plans for the future are new rims and tires, tint the windows, and lower her.
Once the engine goes, do a auto to manual swap and swap the engine for a 3SGTE.
So that's it for right now

\

here is my celica story. i bought my first celica when i was 15. i had a 1994 celica gt coupe. red 5spd black leather premium sound. it was rear ended and i then found my current car, a 1997 special edition st hatch. i picked it up for $1700. i stripped out the tan interior the night i bought the car and put in black carpet and grey leather seats. i replaced the ebay coils for ksports, but then traded them for springs.

current mods...
jdm tails
oem option skirts
vis carbon hood.
kyb gr2 struts and tanabe springs
7gc rims wrapped in goodyear f1 tires
battery relocation

my plans...
gt4 or ssiii front
deep jewel green respray
black roof and door jams
3sgte swap... not sure if i want a 2nd or 3rd gen
new canister style exhaust angled like the supra
ssr type-c rims

i am looking for a daily driver so i can begin to heavily modify my car. i am looking into either a 7th gen celicas, 1zz corolla, or possibly a wrangler to daily drive. idk

its a '96 SS-II Celica in red, the usual features the SS-II has, plus it comes with tein suspension and the SS-III kit, has quite a few TRD goodies hidden away & Tom's racing pedals.

Future mods? hoping I can show you later this year.** wink.gif

** thats if I win

cheers

A year long project that cost me more than a used 350z. Learned alot and in the end it's all about the celica love. Future plans are just little things like gt4 blocks, gauges, and braces. For now i'm just gonna drive the sh*t out of this thing.

GT-Four. Bought it 6 years ago as a more or less bog standard car, modified it with lots of performance and custom parts but as its getting an old man now it is more or less reverted back to standard ish. Starting to suffer from the dreaded rust demon so its probably not long for this world....not in its current form anyway.

Plans........ it will either become a donor for the next GT4 or it will be rebuilt up to its former glory

My pride and joy.

Soft sand....pah..not a problem for a GT4 smile.gif

My '94 ST, And her shortened story smile.gif

Bought the car with my own money at 15, almost 16. Car was "deemed totaled" by previous owners insurance. Got the windshield fixed and a few body parts, but she didnt move... for many reasons. Joined auto. vo-tech in high school and brought her in for like half the year as my project (I was really far ahead)
Got her up and running.. and stopping lol.
Continued working on the car non-stop, up until now at 18, and have done absolutely everything myself, ( with an exception of a little help, installing the new 7A) And the help of everyone on the forums of course smile.gif. Love working on the celi, and trying new "bold" things.
Heres a pic of now-

As you can see I've done alot of work, and as it may not be the cup of tea of some, its what I've always wanted. And I feel like you should never go in the direction someone tells you, but the way YOU want.
Future Plans- (never ending)

►Just bought a Cabon Fiber hood, will have shortly.
►Just ordered Supra Side skirts (never planned on keeping the Invaders, as why I didnt properly paint like the front and rear)(RIP AJMorris frown.gif )
►Hopes of Painting an Orange
►Coilovers (might not be until after this winter)
►As being my DD I love the 7A and getting 33mpg. But Some time down the road, after i get through college (which im also paying for, so money's a bit tight) I plan on a swap.
►And tons of ideas floating through my head, just need the time smile.gif

▼Things you can't see▼ A Very Quick Overview▼

►Have spent alot of time with wiring, lighting, painting, and customizing.
►Have torn out the whole interior and painted.
►Custom red head lights, Custom Fogs, LED Interior (vents, handles, floor, seat, door, E-brake, dome, ect), 7 Color Underglow
►Have a 250 Amp Mechman Alternator, 2 batteries (Kinetik) all 1/0 Gauge wiring where it can be. 4000 Watt amp two 15's, and my custom spec. built box. 7" flip touch screen. Rear seats removed and just built in fiberglass "holder" for amp, crossovers, control box, ect.
(I know its a one pic rule, But its better than trying to explain everything. Have all these pics as well)

Alot more, I could go on for days, spent every dime I've ever earned, and happy about it. Love being on the forum, and helping/being helped smile.gif
Next month will bring about alot! of new changes, but worth a shot entering this month smile.gif

Ill enter this month! When i was 12 my dad bought my celica wrecked. Him being a bodyman he fixed it all up pulled every dent out and painted the whole car Midnight blue. The day i got my license i fell in love with this car and havent stopped messing with it sense. (im 18 now) My grandpa, me and my dad do everything to this car and it has givin it so much sentimental value. ill never sell this car an keep it for an everlasting project.

A few things ive done is:
Custom exhaust
Intake
Anti sway bars
Strut Bars
1.5" drop
Facelift
JDM fenders
JDM tails

But the list keeps going.
I hope you all enjoy!

Heres the most recent picture. Sorry for quality its a phone
