yea Germany is the best all around team. Such great strategic play, they just wear down the other team. Their defence wall is unbreakable. Brazil would've definitely lost to them had they played each other.

Saddest moment so far has to be Ghana losing yesterday. They deserved the win to at least make it to the quarter finals.

What the ****, that was a truckload of crap. Spain kept falling to the ground all game long especially Iniesta and even without contact! Then that bastard makes the goal, and is a hero?!


Thats exactly why I dont like Spains, Portugals and their old colonials (south-america) football, its fake.

Germans, Brits, and Japan. They all played tough but fair football, and thats the best part of the whole sport.

Well, let's all remember this as the World Cup decided by the refs, yeah? Both teams played very well, Spain just got the lucky strike. The majority of this Cup has been bullsh!t, I have to admit...I'm saddened it had to end this way.

van Bronckhorst deserved a better end to his career.

Spain do go down too easy, but the way Holland set out to foul them at every opportunity ruined the game.

im sorry what do you mean by South American football is fake its still the best Europe has pulled ahead for now with 10 cups for Europe and 9 South America but the cup will be back in our continent in Brazil 2014 and it will stay there!

The dutch played well, and had a fair amount of chances, I am just glad it didnt go to penalty kicks... they really suck.

Time to forget this world cup, it was mostly terrible and will soon be forgotten. Poor final match full of fouls and diving.

Yarly...nothing remarkable about the Cup really. I'm sad we lost, would've been great to see van Bronckhorst pull some magical **** (like the shot in the half final), but alas it didn't happen.

Most matches weren't stunning, offensively speaking, and most plagued by bad or biased refereeing.

Germans got 3+ goals in 4 games... I liked watching that.

Yeah, Germany were about the only team to exceed expectations. Most of the big 'stars' choked.

And i agree.... this world cup wasnt that great HOWEVER... there was nothing else on worth watching sports wise giving it a bit spice (not to mention USA was running around making come from behind wins 1980's style early in the tournament)

Sad as this may sound, US sorta did too. Even if they lost in the first round.
