Just wondering ( i know this is a LONGGGG shot ) but honestly how hard would it be to get that car into the US and get it registered ?

bro, use the search button, legally is almost impossible, but with A LOT of money and a good loophole on the laws it can be done,
i personally would not try to register it in USA, is a PITA, believe me i have researched a lot and is not worth it, you can register is as a
"kit car" but would not be driveable on the streets

First off pretty easy for an american to own this car. As a canadian all he would have to do, is drive the car to america, and have the car sold, and registered in the states. As long as it has a vin, just register it as a regualr celica. Nothin illegal about that. Just trying to help get this car sold btw. Its a good deal yo!

Btw, ive done my research as well. Not as complicated as it seems, considering the situation. Anywho, someone jump on this!!

why is it so expensive?

it's one of the 2500 WRC (real one confirmed by VIN in Japan) and White are hard to find

I paid 10k for the car last years in Japan (i do all the process to import the car by my-self)

Over 3k of duty, transport, (Osaka (Japan) to Montreal was 9k for 4 car on overseas), unload, broker etc

and check the list of mods a put in the engine it's more then 4k (just in parts) forget the time.....

so i'm lost money at 14,5k.... if i have the chance i will keep it, i don't sell because something wrong with the car.

hope answer the question wink.gif

you shouldn't really add your losses into a sale, sell the car for what its worth not because you made a bad investment you know, glwts I'm just saying if you're going to sell it be a little more lenient.
