Bitter: Stacy and I want to hit up the park again. Definitely.
I think that we can do the BBQ when we first get to the lot and if we hang out long enough, we can decide if we want to go eat.... Stambo and Richee: For the state park, bring some shorts and flip-flops if you want to go exploring the creeks again like Austin and I did last time. Stambo: Are you going to be able to repair the master before the meet? I cannot wait for this! I just hope that the weather holds out... (although the rain worked out for us anyway) -------------------- ~bloodMoney

I'll just bring my entire closet with me for whatever occasion may come up, whether it's eating at a restaurant or grilling out, going to a state park, or just chilling out all day.

So far as I know, just a Saturday event. If it goes on too late into the night, I'll look into getting a hotel room and staying there, since I've got a 5 hour drive home and I'd rather not be driving at 3 in the morning. Anybody coming from St. Louis, we can meet up and caravan up north.
So Chris, you're thinking grill out since we're meeting up at noon and if it goes on late enough, go to a restaurant for dinner? I'll just stop somewhere in town before I get to the meet and pick up some stuff. I was going to stop and hit up a car wash anyway, so getting some extra food won't be a problem. I'll probably pick up a couple of 12 packs of soda, probably some water, and whatever else needs to be picked up. I'll probably send some PM's with my phone number in the next couple of days, or you guys can PM me and request it. That way, meeting up with anyone will be made easier, or I'll know what to buy when I get into town. As far as bringing soda, I'll probably just pick it up here and have it on ice in a cooler so it'll be cool by the time I get there, but I can pick up some buns or hamburger meat/hot dogs when I get closer so that it will still be fresh. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. ^ Yup. That's exactly what I was thinking. It worked out for us last time, so why change things? lol
Stacy and I will bring cooking utensils, some food and some drinks... Bitter: Are you coming? If so, are you going to be bringing your grill? If not, we will bring some charcoal and foil for the grills there. So, with 2 weeks left, should we get a count going? 1. bloodMoney and gf -------------------- ~bloodMoney

Bump because so far only BloodMoney and I have confirmed?? Come on!
Checked my schedule today. I'm definitely in. If anybody is coming from the St. Louis area or anywhere south of Starved Rock, PM me to get my phone number and we can caravan up there. I will be stopping off in the nearest town for a quick car wash and food. I'll probably be there between 11-12, assuming I can find the place. Since I am definitely in, definitely coming, I think I'll bring a 12 pack of Coca Cola, a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper, and some buns for both hot dogs and hamburgers. I might also bring a portable sound dock for an iPod if anybody has a cool playlist to listen to while we are sitting around. What supplies do we actually need? We have a few things covered. We have the grilling utensils, but what about charcoal? I know I will be bringing some buns and some drinks. Maybe even some meat, depending on who brings what. So food/drinks are covered. What else do we need?

I'd prob just buy some stuff when i get to the area. I'd like to meet up with a few people and hit the car wash before the meet.
And why does illinois charge so much for stupid tolls? -------------------- 2nd Gen 3s-gte.... It lives!

And it's because we're broke! Chicago can go be it's own state for a little while. Lol. What town would be best to stop and pick up supplies and go the a car wash? I was going to stop too and pick some things up, and meet up with Stambo for a car wash. Looks like most people are coming from up North, so I'm willing to drive a little bit further if I need to. I'm not familiar with the area, so I'll take whatever help I can get. I'll be coming in on Route 51 and going into Oglesby, IL and on to Starved Rock from there, but I can take a different route and meet somewhere else for the sake of a car wash and a grocery store.
