Omg NEVER!! I hate having more than one person in mine. When ever there's 2 in front and 2 in back, I can feel the acceleration just DROP

man im sorry but when i first got the car i had 2 in the front and that was it, anyone else sat in the trunk... i literally took out the back seat so people couldnt even try to ride with me. its a coupe,, a couple is a 2 person car, people dont understand that, whenever you get a 4 door then ill put people in the back but a 2 door = 2 people.

I was able to get me, my 2 sisters and my parents into my celica for cross state trips. Then I realized that it was time to buy a large 4 door vehicle so we are not crammed like sardines.

you got a little more power with the GT though tongue.gif
My ST is a 2 seater now, because i took out the back seats for an amp rack. But when I was in the process of making it, I had the back seats, subs (with my huge box), amp spare tire, pass seat out. Im talking at least a couple hundred pounds I took out that day. And ended up having to drive some where... i was VERYYY much considering keeping all that stuff out, the car felt like it has never felt lol, felt like a race car driver tongue.gif although I wanst going very fast, i am just so used to having all that weight since I got the car

3 in the front, ( me driving, friend and gf in passenger, then 3 in the back seat, and 2 more in the trunk.). That was a experience. It was just like a 5mile trip try 200. Friend suv broke down and luckily I tool my car so I was comfortable... Didn't turn out that way.

oh is it? lol i just assumed the GT was faster. as the ST is slow as helllllll! but then again ive really only driven the celi and my 69 SS chevelle X) lol so theres a HUGE difference in the power, i always assumed the GT was some where in the middle of the ST and my chevelle

While the GT may not be "loads" faster (having this conversation on chat...which reminds me, sign up for it), it will leave an ST behind every day (stock for stock). While thats not saying much (I know it isnt), I will say the GT is faster (all be it, however slight). Although I can not attest to the diff in curb weight (st vs gt, same body style), I'm pretty sure the difference would be nominal.

Aye. My folks come down to florida 3-4 times per year. I took them on 3 cross state trips driving a total of probably 2000 miles altogether.

A bit off topic, but I came out of an ST auto into a GT manual and there is LOADS more power at any speed. Actual numbers, it's only something like a 20 hp difference, but it's very easily felt. Whoever says that the ST and GT "really aren't that much different" needs to drive a GT. You will eat your words. The only thing worse than an ST is a comparable Corolla and that's only because it doesn't look as good.

On topic, I've had 8. 3 in the front, 3 in the back seat, 2 in the trunk. Talk about no power at all...
