Hey guys, I want to know what do you think about these wheels. The rims are 18' and the wheels are 225/45
I think the wheels should be 205/40. What do you think about it?

And how should I make it look lower? Springs? body kit? Or should I get smaller rims?

drop it! I got tein s tech springs with 18's and a 225/40 tire with a 35 offset, and i just barely rub in the back when i hit really big dips. adding a body kit will still make the car look 4x4

You should definitely drop it, get the OEM Side Skirts, and get splitters in the front and the back. IMO that would look really nice. If you're in to the whole aftermarket body kit thing, they get one of those for it!

cool guys. Thanks for the ideas! I will get some info about the springs here in my country. Probably next weekend. So you don´t think that there won´t be problems with the tire size if I drop it right?

just don't drop it too low because you definitely don't want them to rub on the splash guards!

roll ur fenders if dat happens

Rolling the fenders doesn't give you any more clearance on the splash guards. You roll the fenders so you don't rub on the fenders.

Def drop it, the big gap between the fenders and tires is what looks unattractive...

Deff like the rims but if you are going to drop it do it right. No spring cutting or camberkits!! haha you will love it in the corners once you do that (if you dont already)

a camberkit is do you dont have negative camber on your tires and they wear evenly ! its a good thing to get if u are lowering

So, I should use progressive springs. Is that the name?

Eibach sportline springs are progressive. Most guys go with tein s-tech springs, or the tanabe df210 springs.

yea that needs to be dropped. tanabe might be a nice choice for springs. eibach and tien are good names too. if you kit up do something clean and tasteful!

he might rub though if he uses the tanabe or eibach IIRC they are a larger drop the tiens. I go the tiens with the same tire and rim size, and I rub the fenders a little bit in the rear, but thats with a 35 offset, if his was a bit less it may not.

I dunno if the stiffness of the eibach or tanabe will make up enough room for the amount of drop compared to the tiens. i guess it also depends what the roads are like where yo are from, and if you want to roll your fenders or not..

but you have a 225/40 tire. Am I right? mine is 225/45, that worries me a little bit. Maybe I will need to change the wheels to 225/40, right?
