I'm going to be installing coil overs soon and I'd really like to have spacers by the time I get the coilovers. I don't wanna be completely hella flush, but I don't want my wheels to be sunken in. I have 17x7.5 wheels with a 45mm offset and I'm about to have Falken Ziex 512's all around (215/45/17). What size spacers would I need to be pretty flush? I've read the other topics on this, but I'm still not sure how to add up the math with the offsets. Help would be AWESOME.

Flush in front with 7.5" wheels is +15

Flush in rear with 7.5" wheels is -2

To achieve those you need a 30mm spacer in front (45-15=30) and 47mm spacer in the back (45- -2 is 45+2=47)

That's what I came up with when I did the math as well, but the numbers sounded huge to me lol. Well thanks for confirming! And is that with 0 camber I'm assuming?

You can leave it without spacers, but it'll look like doggy doo doo.

What's the center-bore on our cars? Or is that wheel-specific?

57.1 or 56.1 - I can't remember off the top of my head. I want to say 56.1, because I had a set of hub rings that were 73 to 57.1 and they were a tad loose on the Celica's hub.

Go out and measure? I mean, why is it THAT important? Hubcentric spacers?

the hub itself is 54.1 but the spacer that attachs to it must be 56.1

So when I order the spacers, I get 56.1?

1.50lbs should be good
2.knuckle bolts???? axle nuts should be 130lbs-ish, well that's what i make mines at
3.stand on the lug wrench and use your weight

any spacers over 35mm is ridiculously FAT!!! get better offset rims (not rims made for subbie offsets, flame at me go ahead) then use spacers from there

Yeah those spacers are going to be huge.

And the top strut bolts are only like 18lbs/ft. You'll shear the studs if you go too high. Lug nuts I have always done 100lbs/ft, and the two knuckle bolts I have never torqued, I have just tightened them as much as I can and called it a day.

I'm just going to get 20mm spacers all around until I have money for better rims. Those numbers were HUGE
