So as the title says, anyone know how to remove them? I'm seriously at a loss here

Pictures? I'm not exactly sure what the drip guards are..

im guessing he means splash guard

there should be screws that are holding it up.
just jack it up, climb under, and unscrew the screws

Sorry i dont want to be rude but I know what a splash guard is, the drip guards are those black molding pieces over the driver and passenger windows that draw water away from them these.

why exactly would you remove them? jw they look to be in good condition? maybe they could use a coat of paint, but they look fine

well im removing them so I can paint the car, they have a pretty big gap between the car that im assuming draws the water out, so i'm not sure if just masking them over would ensure a good spray

you can find out in a few days lol, I masked mine off and am starting painting tomorrow night, mine look basically the same, so ill let you know how mine turns out

you pull the rubber out of the guide, and remove the screws that hold it in.
the rear section is part of the quarter window.

I wouldnt be tooooo fast to pull off the guards if they are hard to do, I just painted my car and they were not in the way at all.. as long as you tape off good, you will be fine The spray gun can get in there and work its magic

^I disagree. The more you can take off the car before painting it the better. It may seem fine right after you paint it, but a year or two later when the paint starts peeling you'll wish you took the extra 10-15 minutes out of your time to take them off. Just my $0.02, not trying to be a jerk or anything.
