Hi. I'm going to be purchasing some of these steele wheels soon. Basically re-barreled steelies. I was wondering if anyone here on 6gc had a set yet and any pics on a 6gc.

No, no one with a 6gc has done it yet. Yes, you should do it. No I can't tell you which offset to get, you should look in Harold's flush wheel fitment thread for width and offset information.
And now I have answered all of your following questions before you could ask them. ![]() -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

It was always something I thought about doing, because the celica is slow, so lightweight weeks aren't going to make or break you... So why not roll with really heavy steelies.

-5 on front and -15 rear. you'll need 3 sets of camber bolts 2 sets for the rear and 1 for the front. then you'll need pillowball mounts up front too

it is not recommeded to use camber bolts and camber plates at the same time on a single strut assambly, and 2 sets of camber bolts on one single strut assambly is not a good idea either, but that may be a new trend on the hellaflush world.

Just buy a cheap set of coilovers like megan or ksport and utilize the camber plates. The rears probably aren't camber adjustable, and if that is the case then a camber bolt can be used. 1 per side, not two.

Stay away from Ksports
Coilovers that come with camber plates are design to work only with the coilover system, I tried using the Ksport camber plates on my tein coilovers and no luck. -------------------- ![]() |

The wheels vary in price depending on your choice of wheel and size and/or if you want a custom wheel. They are fairly cheap though you can easily cash out 280 for a set. As far as coilovers are concerned what is cheap? Cuz all I can find is 800 and up. That really is not cheap in my opinion.
