Playstation Beta rooms.... was a place set up for a weekend where you could go play new stuff....

Played it in 3D as well, pretty amazing...... but i hate wearing those glasses. Played Killzone 3 and Tennis with those new 'move' controllers.

I reckon it's definitely time for all the xbox owners to sell up and get a proper console

i'd rather have my rumble and Halo, GT never really did it for me it got really tedious "wow looks pretty" but no excitement, only reason i have an xbox is for arcade style games and Halo the rest i play on PC

The new Halo is so stupid... Halo is suppose to be Halo not flying around and sprinting.... I mean that just isnt Halo to me. And how is it fun when they take out ranks ? thats so whack, i played that game to reach a skill level not be a general.... Halo has sucked ever since they got rid of Halo 2. Im hooked on Call Of Duty now. Atleast its fun, ( somewhat ) , I mainly like it just for the fact i play for rank and KD ratio ext. As for Forza it sucks to me, and i was never really a fan of the GT saga's.

anyone recommend a good steering wheel/shifter combo for this badboy?

Logitech are usually pretty good aren't they??

did we hear about the tires, when you come off the track and go onto grass/gravel your tires dont perform the best for a couple of turns.

the karting at the start reminds of the v8supercar series

ah a stat whore? personally i don't play games for ranks and perks i find it makes the games uneven as there are so many over powered perks that the higher ranks (the people who have also got the advantage of experience and skill) use and abuse makes the games too uneven, gave up on Call of Duty they've ruined the franchise with modern warfail 2, it's exactly the same games as modern warfare underneath yet they charge full price for it and now they are charging for DLC that includes maps from the original game? they are deffo taking some suckers for a ride. They've built Halo: Reach for the current fans of Halo's evolving universe which has actually taken on some elements of the Red vs Blue web series.

I'm personally very excited for this game. I hope it actually lives up to its promise of being more exciting though...it definitely got boring to me with GT4 somehow, GT3 was much more fun. I want GT to stay true to simulation, but the series somehow needs elements (or excitement like) of arcade games.

And lastly...let's hope this is the actual release date.

The only thing that already slightly disappoints me is NASCAR...seriously? I'm going to hate doing those races. In fact, they'll probably have to be completed drunk in order to be any fun. But I guess this is all part of GT trying to be all-encompassing of motorsport, karting was a really good idea in that respect.

Yeah I had it reserved for the Feb. 2nd date. Pissed me off...

And the NASCAR did gave me a face. I'm just glad they kept the F1 cars they introduced in GT4. Now THOSE cars were great fun to drive. Although my personal favorite was my custom tuned Amuse S2000 GT1. That thing handled like a dream.

I just got THIS wheel, and it's brilliant!

Specifically made for GT, it even has an adjustment dial, so you can change suspension, brake settings mid-race

It does need to be fixed down though, i currently fix it to my ironing board

Jeez you must really be into Forza and GT, and as for Halo and COD im a big stat whore. H3 10 50s 170 losses. lmfao 500 games total. Big stat whore.

I've wanted that wheel since I was 15, damn. Maybe I should finally buy it. I really like that it's specifically made for GT, but I can't help but think that I actually want a clutch pedal and six speeds as well...pretty sure that would get too expensive though.

Online multiplayer, 50 in every playlist theyve almost ever had I have about 10-12 total, and in games played i have about 550 or so with like 150 losses total. KD ratio is a 3.14 ranked.

This is equal to Japanese IMO, bro. Lolol. Jk, I just don't enjoy FPS very much.

Is this STILL not out yet? I'm afraid my kids will kill the PS3 I bought them 3 years ago [secretly so I could play GT5 ] before this comes out

PS4 has just been announced (code named; Serious Station, cos this sh!t is no longer just a game!) and GT5 is going to be the launch title, it's coming last quarter 2011

There's no way they can make the next-gen console when they've just started turning profits on the PS3. Besides, if the PS3 dies it'll be the only PS console without a Gran Turismo title, that won't happen either. I call BS.
