I've been keeping my quarters in the ashtray and it's a really bad idea because the coins would fall underneath the parking brake lever if I'm not careful.

I just discovered the coin holder the other day, after having owned this car for 12 years. I was rather upset.

I found my cup holders the first day lol because my Acura Legend had them in the same exact spot! Except you had to push them in and then they would pop out and it also had a lock so you wouldn't accidentally push it in, unlike ours...which just slide in and out like crazy...

u do have a coin holder its those 2 little scoop looking things that are on teh right side toward teh front of the car..there like molded into the plastic...it doesnt look like ur typical coin holer..it will only hold a few and it works best with quarters

LOL great thread. Just open your center storage lid right behind the ebrake. It's to the right of where the lid locks in place. Two little slots for a few loose change.

I found the coin holder before I ever bought the car. Cup holder took a couple of weeks and I found it by accident when I went to open the console. These cars are full of surprises.

I was unaware of this coin holder, and I found 2 little slots once lifting the center console...if thats what you talking about, there is no way it will replace my current coin pocket infront of the shifter =P

I found my cupholders by complaining about not having one then my bestfriend who, turns out, knew where they were. He thought itd be funny to pull it out, not sure it should come out that easy, then proceed to throw it out the window right off the BB Comer bridge... I have a '95 door, '95 hatch and '95 cupholder frown.gif ha

Getting to know the ashtray was easy on the other hand... It had the remote to the Clifford alarm. I hit the alarm buttin trying to get it out, it set off the alarm at 9 at night, then the remote battery conveniently died at the same moment... had to disconnect the battery to shut it up... worst luck (and friends) ever... True story

EDIT: Just went and saw my coinholder. puny little thing... what in the world were they thinking?
