During my trip I had conversation with Ferd about SS-Four design. Conversation about ideas and how it came to my mind... and that conversation has started another idea, another possible project... (NOT change of my celi, no worries smile.gif). It's just in "idea stage" so far. However first I would like to know your opinion:

Design combination of SS-II (TOM'S lip option) + GT-four. Something like real GT-II (perhaps) design smile.gif.

Main idea is exactly opposite than for SS-Four used:

- keep ST/GT bumper untouched.
- modify GT-Four hood to fit ST/GT bumper (shave gap in the front... so make new evolutional "GT-II hood" wink.gif).
- use OEM JDM-dealers option front lip (well known as TOM'S lip).
- use OEM Euro-dealers option rear lip.
- use OEM side skirts.

No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

*Ferdi wink.gif

It sounds like a pretty cool idea. Except, I'd still modify the front bumper to have the top part pushed out to meet the hood. Remember us talking about that, why I liked the SS-FOUR bumper so much more because of that? I think that would add a nice touch.

You know I like the idea but not a fan of the Tom's lip in the slightest. I'd prefer the same thing with the other rare dealer option European lip - the one that looks more like a wing down there [Can't for the life of me remember the name of it]

I agree, Tom's Lip is meh, but the Eurou one is so sweet in my opinion. Would you be putting Euro raiser blocks on the spoiler too? May look neat. I like this idea Martin.

Sorry Ferdi... me and keyboard. I know what to type but result is sometimes different smile.gif.

However. Thee are 133hits today and just 7 votes. More over result do not make clear results frown.gif. Honestly what I expected is bigger response. Since budget to create design like this would be around $1500 I guess it never happens after response like this...

However thanks for opinion people.

^ No worries mate. And would you be doing this to the SS-FOUR or a project car? If this would be for the SS-FOUR, I'd be a little against that, seeing as you'd no longer have an SS-FOUR then. frown.gif But if this is what you want to do, then you have to do it for yourself, not for others. Don't worry about the small feedback on the site.

On a random note, my girlfriend really didn't understand why I took a four hour train ride to meet up with you guys. I showed her the Before Stelvio video and NOW she understands. biggrin.gif

thank you for responses. 28 opinions is not that bad... I hope it will be enough to give true reason for making this happen smile.gif. So yes this will not "new SS-Four". It is just possible project of one friends I have.

The opinion is to get a gt bumper and a gt-four and to unite and become like YOU (malpaso). and then put the lester at the front, the next and back beams or beams or lester and the spoiler gt-four. and I am preparing a ss-four which is by lester ever believe you will see the summer ......

Tom's lip looks great. probably the best looking lip along with C-one and aero magic on a GT-4. even though tom's lip is not meant for a GT4. Wanna see the end result.

So will you be cutting/modding a GT4 hood to fit the bumper or will you be adding vents to a non-GT4 hood?

You make me doubt about my English wink.gif. Tried to describe all in first post wink.gif

So... maybe picture will help more. This is the first and the last real picture from this project that is really happening... wink.gif

Cool idea. It'd be neat if you could bring the gap into the bumper kind of like a scoop, somewhat like the WS6.

Well, nice project, by my opinion smile.gif

As Malpaso informed, this project is live now. There are not many pictures yet, as it was started yesterday. I started new thread here where you may see a few other pictures from yesterday. Pictures from the project progress may be within next two weeks, depending on the workload of the bodyman and on our time to visit his garage, as it is pretty far away.
