i'm currently using 27mm hubcentrics for rears 235/40/18 and 10mm for the fronts 225/40/18.. no issues whatsoever.

man Do I really have to take a pic so you guys know what I'm talking about. Yes I am taking out my old studs and replacing them with extended/longer studs, but its a must to take out the backing plate in order to get them in right. I have a ST celica so it might be different for me. I really dont want to take a pic its such a waste of time just to take out the wheels jack up the car take out the caliper and caliper mounts. I'll take pics once the guy from ebay sends me the right extended studs!

im running 17x7 rims with a +42 offset and want it to sit flush. my car is dropped on megan coils with 205/40/17. im thinking about a 15mm or 20mm spacer. which would you guys recommend? id rather not roll my fenders but if i have to ill take it to a shop to do that too. so if i wanted this itd be the 54.1 x 15mm with 5x100 correct?

Dude with your coilovers I wouldn't go more than 15 mm spacers honestly. With those 15mm you'd be at +27mm and with 20mm spacers you'd definitely need to get your fenders rolled. I'm pretty sure of it, but I would wait for confirmation from another member, before you decide on 15mm vs 20mm. I'm getting my spacers installed next weekend so I'll post up the pics. I have 16x7 rims with +42mm offset as well. You can even come over and check it out or we can meet somewhere before you decide to make your buy. Don't buy those hellaflush spacers, those are the type of spacers you definitely do not want to buy. You need a pair like mine.

Hey, Bonzai. Where did you get yours?

These are Ichiba USA Spacers. I purchased them from Kuruma Motoring Inc from ebay. $230 shipped to my door. If you can see in the pic I have two different colored studs. The bronze ones are actual Ichiba Studs and are 2.40mm longer than the gold colored ones. The gold colored ones have the same diameter and threading but the quality is a bit different and it's probably for a different vehicle?? They contacted ichiba with the pics and I should be receiving my bronze studs by wednesday or thursday. That's the only complaint I have so far and I've been waiting for new studs since November 3rd.

i wanna get the largest spacers i can without getting extended spacers..haha how well would these be?

dude your not getting it those will work no doubt, they just are not as secure/able to stand as much as a beating as mine would be and are not recommended by other members. We have a celica not a civic remember that.

the Largest spacers you could get without getting extended wheel studs would be 5mm. I remember members saying 15mm and 20mm rear for a real good flush look. Is that what your looking for that real nice show car flush look?

Just Spend the money and get good ones, i gave up on the ebay spacers, im having mine custom made

I decided on getting mine custom made from a reputable company, going 18 in the front and 33 in back

so this might be a dumb question. but the lower the drop, the smaller the spacer for a decent flush look. right? so if i just get my car dropped even more and adjust camber and alignment. itll look more flushed right?

Flush is your offset man (flush with fenders), dropped is your height, and camber is...well your camber. So to answer your question, to look "more flush" you will need spacers or wider wheels.

yea but i keep hearing that if your car is DROPPED. you wont need as large of a spacer as you would if you werent. to get more flush i have an image on my head as to what i mean but i cant explain it.

flush is not offset, flush is the result of having a low disk offset and suspension droppage. all those factors you mentioned are keys to being flush.

Like i said it doesnt matter what spacers you get to get the look you want, but its important to get the right spacer (w/hubcentric) to have your car safe to drive.

Ideal drivable offset??? I'd say +10front and +5rear

Oh yeah, does anyone know where i can find a walk through on replacing front wheel bearings and tie rod ends? feeling a winter mod lol

What spacers would you recommend to me for 17X7 wheels?

im still rocking my 65 $ ebay spacers...I had them milled down 8mm because of excessive rubbing but now my new suspension can adjust camber ! I don't dare do a top speed run with the car possibly near 400hp I fear I might lose a wheel even though it has no play/vibration etc what do you guys think??

Red123, I have the same wheel size and am considering a 25mm spacer at every corner.

Neon...I think...if they're not hubcentric...you should replace them.
