Took the car cover off and started my Celica. Ugh I miss driving that thing. Starting it once a week to keep everything fresh wink.gif

In case you're wondering, NO i won't be taking my cover off every week. I did that because I wanted to sit in it LOL. I now drive my beater 91 corolla and there's nothing sporty about it haha. If it keeps snowing, I'll be in the is300 yipee biggrin.gif wink.gif Just because my wife sucks at driving RWD tongue.gif

Over the weekend I decided to pull my ct20b and install a new turbo to exhaust manifold gasket along with a new hose from hell. The old gasket was cracked and causing a pretty bad exhaust leak causing the car to run too rich and bog down. Now the problem is fixed and it runs like new again!

Taking it apart

Notice the crack right in the middle!

Installing new hose from hell. Even with the turbo off, its not a fun job.

i woke up and looked over to see she was sleeping with a smile on her face... i couldnt sleep the rest of the night... i decided to shove her a bit because she seemed TOO happy and i did my famous line when i see somebody resting TOO peacefully

"wake up and go to sleep"

for some reason it didnt make me feel better today when she asked if she could drive my celica after she got to learn stick in my eclipse.

Quick Question guys. I am just curious the front fenders are factory rolled so i should only have to roll the rear fenders?

Today i rolled around in the mud trying to get my disc conversion, the car almost fell on me, majority of the bolts broke off rather than unthreading, and what didnt have a bolt stuck in it was rusted out..... needless to say i went home empty handed

instead of removing the whole assambly, try to remove the parts.

remove the caliper and lines, then disc, then unbolt the rear wheel bearing and unbolt the brake back plate. that's all you need and is far easier to remove than the whole assambly. to install, do exactly the same on your car.

and don't forget the eBrake cable.
