The other thing that irritates me is some of the "special challenges" in both the rally and the Christian loeb?(I think) challenge I can be going flat out in equally built cars, and somehow manage to lose by 12-15 seconds. I am not sliding the whole time either it just doesn't make sense. Then the Nascar thing I can't not hit cones or the wall while going flat out at Daytona! I just need to walk away from the game and focus on Finals I think:/

Alright, this game is starting to annoy me a bit. It's a little sad that Grand Theft Auto has more realistic crash physics and AI. When you're racing and staying on course, everything's fine...but as soon as you crash, it all goes to ****. The sounds suck, it feels like a four-year-old did the crash simulations, and the AI doesn't know how to react when there's an obstacle. Utterly stupid and irritating.

Hey Ferdi, that was starting to annoy me to. UNTIL I found out that once you get to lv.40, you get FULL physics. Metal crunching, flipping over, sliding, doors ripping off, tires warping. Looks like Polyphony left the good stuff to the real dedicated people.

Nah, the full physics are there from the start. It's just that only rally cars and race cars are capable of full damage modelling.

Try it yourself in arcade mode with a rally car... you can destroy them.

Hey Mike, could I borrow your 427 Cobra for the classic muscle race? I'll let you borrow my Furai concept for the GT World Championships if you need it.

What are the typical opponents for all stars? Because if they're similar to the GT World Championships, you'll have no problem owning them. biggrin.gif Keep in mind, my Mazda Furai has 500hp, weighs 675kg, and handles like the GT F1 car did in GT4.

Level 22, just done the nascar championship in expert, and in the driving missions only a couple of races left (some of them are tricky) and the others I cant do yet due to higher levels.

... like I said, I'm tired.

Meant to say understeer.

I would like to mention this though - I've changed the brake balance and the camber and I've noticed a significant change in handling... I don't mind it, but like I said earlier, I've just forced myself to get used to it. I'm sure once I get off my lazy duff and start driving the Supercars, I'll probably change my mind, but this is the best car in my garage ATM. tongue.gif

I think my best handling one is either my tuned up Elise 111R or my Mazda Furai Concept.

That GT-4 model looks horrible, sorry to say.

Hector, good call on the 512 for the Italia Challenge, it was overkill. Almost made me broke though! I need moar monies...

I don't get to see GT-Fours in many games nowadays :S

Look at the square angles of the trunk lid and spoiler. Looks turrible.

Does the GT-4 let you adjust the AYC (active-yaw-controller). It's under Drivetrain options when you go to tune the car before a race. I adjusted it on my Evo because it was understeering like hell, the default setting was 30 and I put it up to 50 and the car handled perfectly! I'd try it now but I won't be home for like another 6 hours.
