is it rev dependent?
maybe its something vibrating at its harmonic frequency? whenever I rev my car to 4000 and let of the gas, a whole bunch of stuff rattles in my interior as the tak falls. Thats just because the engine is vibrating in the perfect way for those bits to react. a video would be the best way for us to be able to help you -------------------- |

ya it has nothing to do with the rev, even when the motor isnt running and i just turn the key to turn the battery on i hear it, i tried recording it with my phone but my blackberry wouldnt catch the noise of it, kinda like you gotta be sitting in the car to hear it which sucks

he says he can hear it with the car off and key at ON position, so it has to be the fans. fuel pump doesn't start working until you crank the engine, and there is nothing else spining unless you hard wired your intercooler water pump to run 100% of the time.

but if u think that the fans are just frozen, then after u drive for a while the engine temp should melt the ice and make it normal, but again ive never lived in a place where it dropes below freezing point
