Time for another one. The first "Florida" meet was on February 20th of 2010. The location was good, and the people were good. Let's make it better this time.

im down but my celica is out of commission starting major projects in a couple months. Im in lakeland

I'm surprised I've never seen you around. So the celica will be down for the meet? What will you bring?

We need to get some moar people in on this... isn't looking too good so far. It's Ferdi's fault.

that becuase i moved from NC to Fl 5 months ago. My celica wont be ready it is a shell right now. Preping for a roll cage, I have v6 , awd swaps planned. Like I said major projects.

there is a possibility if/when you guys have a meet in the summer, id be able to show up. (my sister is going to move there in a few months and I can meet you guys when I go to visit )

I'm sorry that you live in Lakeland. I just moved out of there about 7 months ago. Although, I am now in Winter Haven which still sucks. People in Polk County always drive about 20 mph below the speed limit.

Anyway, I have no idea right now if I would be able to make it. No idea what work will be like around that time.

Trust me it's not going to matter if you have your car painted or not. We really just need to get people to attend. I've been to both that we had before and I will try my best this time as well. Pluse I have a new Celica that you all need to see. We need to look up people again in the Florida and send them a pm lol.

Samir got a hold of me. While I no longer own a celica I may be able to make that meet. Right now I am tied up with work. If I was to come I would be traveling from 33547 to destination in my truck. I will know more later and will be updating on situation as things go.

He is right. We don't care and aren't gonna give you any crap for how it looks. If the car runs, it should be there! No exceptions!

I did PM a bunch of people the last 2 times Axel, the messages either get ignored, or people write back their excuses.

I might attend. Pending my availability from my two jobs...

I forgot to put some details, so I'll do that here. The plan is a little meet-and-greet at 12, just hanging out and stuff (all day son ). I'll be providing burgers, you guys bring whatever else you want. Afterwards, it's cruise time mothersuckers. I'll have new tires so I'm ready to pwn somebody with me auto ST.

Go look over our thread, and find a place you know is going to have what you need:
1:place to BBQ/eat
2:Place for pictures
3: Easy to get to a good cruisin road(we used highway 1 )

Also someone needs to take charge and organize everything (ie talk 1:1 with ppl about what to bring, go look at the location or at least contact the park manager or w.e. to ask if its alright and where and when the best time to be there is). I took control planning the norcal meet and in turn we had way to much food and everyone only had to bring like 1 thing. And yea PM members around the area, i mean hell i randomly PMed some ppl who dont even have 6gcs and they came out and made it even more fun.


Saying just bring what you want and lets hope **** works wont cut it.

Did numbers 1, 2, and 3 last time. Park has bbq grills, ferdi made the burgers, there is a supermarket 1mi away that driving over to is fun. The place is OK for pics. I planned the cruise route as well and it can also be altered and branched out into some of florida's scenic highways and go over the tallest point in peninsular FL (Sugarloaf mountain).. if I wanted it to (a nice drive btw). I PM'd everyone last time and they all PM'd me back excuses, or they'd view the thread and no reply at all.

The problem is: no one in FL seems to want to meet.

TY for the advice... but its just a matter of getting these people to show up!

P.S. I am seriously jealous, Andrew. Looked like a good time.

3rd gen 3s, and will still use the s54 tranny. currently have both wire harness out and should be sending it out soon for conversion
