hey guys. im pretty much asking what you think in this thread.
i have a white celica and i bought a veilside bodykit to begin with front, rear, sides, wing although the sides arent in good enough condition to use. i was eventually going to get it repaired sprayed etc then on. but lately ive been loving the jdm look. so i just bought trd rear pods, riser blocks, 2 post spoiler so i need a pair of side skirts and front splitters to finish it off. (and projectors of course lol) but what do you guys think about the ssiii front splitters with trd rear pods, weird looking at all? This post has been edited by dz93: Jan 19, 2011 - 6:18 AM |

Hey man,
You should post some pics up of your car so we can all have a look at it What kind of bumper you have on it? Ever thought of a different bumper or lip? I'd say, since you got the TRD rear pods, you should go the 404 Sideskirts. Rear TRD pods will flow better with them skirts rather than the OEM. But if you dont want SS-III, theres TRD front's, or Lips to choose. If you have the GT4 Bumper, the front TRD's will flow perfectly. If you have the prefacelft ones, not as much, but still decent. Or a different style OR a different bumper, TRD, C-One etc. If you were thinking of the SS-III Fronts and OEM sides, i'd say the Rear SS-III Flow better than the TRD. The SS-III Fronts will flow fine with either Sideskirt, but the 404 Skirts will flow better to the TRD Pods, than the OEM ones. But thats just my opinion If you want TRD Rears, i'd say: 404 sides than either SS-III Fronts or a lip. Depends what bumper/mods you have already. -------------------- |

You have the Facelift bumper.
The SS-III fronts go great with them. With what i said before, what are you thinking? or what sides are you thinkin of? -------------------- |

are the 404 sideskirts the ones that are in your first pic, i can see how they would flow better with trd. but in the end i would probably prefer the splitters and oem sides. i can always still get the splitters and sell the trd rears.

Yep, the 404's are the bulky type sides.
But yeah, if your liking the look of the SS-III fronts, i'd say get the backs as well. The 404 sides are just as fine with the SS-III fronts/backs as the oems. -------------------- |

well it pretty much comes down to the availability of the side skirts.
id rather not go thru these ppl, id rather get it off another member but in aus everything is so much harder to get. http://carmate.com/display_products.php?id...mp;categoryid=3 it looks to me like the z style ones are like the 404 and the zr are like the oem correct me if im wrong. |

Yep pretty much.
But if your not in TOO much of a rush, i'd look around. I originally looked into getting some from them, but thought i'd pay an extra $50 - $100 and get OEM, proper toyota ones, that i know would fit. Keep an eye out on here, ebay, RPMGarage.com. -------------------- |
