This thread is here to help you decide, which suspension modifications you would like to install on your celica. Please note that some of these prices are not the best deal.

Tanabe Lowering Springs
Applications : 94-99 Types: AT200,ST202,ST203
These springs feature increased spring rates of 20-30% over stock, for higher performance. Lowering the ride height 1 and 1/24 inches to 1 and 1/2 inches gives the car an aggressive stance, while providing a lower center of gravity for an increased amount of turning stability. The part number for these springs is TGF083.

The DF210 line of springs enhance the appearance by lowering the vehicle 2~2 1/2in (50~60mm) without sacrificing comfort.

Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs
Applications : 94-99 Types: AT200,ST202,ST203
A great way to give your car a drop of 1.5inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear. You'll find spring rates to be similar to stock but a little more stiffer.
Cost: $110 USD

For those of you that dont know, Coilovers are adjustable spring setups for your car. You can get from 0 to 4 inches of drop of some of these products.

These coilovers allow adjustment anywhere from 0"- 4" depending upon its application. Height is adjusted through use of a threaded sleeve that fits over your stock or aftermarket shocks and a dual locking perch mechanism. Each kit includes 4 threaded sleeves, 4 pairs of locking perches, 4 linear rate springs, 4 urethane bushings, 4 spring stabilizers and 2 adjustment tools

So when it says that they are compatible with the AT200 models, they are also compatible with ST204 models, right? The suspension setups for those are the same right?

Tanabe Nf210: Front 2.9 kg/mm, Rear 2.3 kg (Discontinued)

Tanabe Gf210: Front 3.5 kg/mm, Rear 3.0 kg/mm, (Discontinued),

RS-R Ti2000 : Front 4.0kg/mm, Rear 3.4kg/mm with a drop of 1.38" Front and 1" Rear, Part # : T112TD

springs for the front from Toyota have different part numbers (obviously due to different springs rates because the gt4 is a heavier vehicle) otherwise check this page out, my response is towards the bottom.

the ride height for both TRD usa springs and TRD Japan springs are different right. the usa ones drop lower?

Hi guys I’ve ordered the Tein S-Tech’s from eBay and they don’t fit. This is the second pair I’ve bought that don’t fit my 94 GT-S. I’m at a loss here I don’t want to spend more money and wait for the parts and uninstall the struts only to find they don’t fit again. Please help.
