found out that my torsion bar thingy over the drive shaft is snapped

finally finish drilling holes through the hatch...pain in the A$$. for the 2pt and for the varis roof spoiler...i won't put it on until the whole car is painted.

Recieved my Aisin Water Pump and Timing stuffs..............now the weather needs to warm up!

i'm gonna give the celica a good clean hasn't had a wash in 7 weeks so it looks like a mess right now.

Gave her a much-deserved and needed oil change today.

today i ran my fuel tank dry for the first time and had to push my car through snow while steering it to the closest gas station

Gerald, out of curiosity, where was the needle when the tank was truly empty?

My fuel flap retaining clip fell out after I filled up, oddly enough. Anyone have a picture of where this clip is positioned? I'm assuming it goes in the catch-thingy (no better word for it, sorry...latch? The black part that catches and locks the flap), because I see a little slot where it fits into. My flap now doesn't open without it having to be pried.

Flushed the front a bit more, and installed 4 new boston acoustic speakers

replaced the broken stuff...I have run out of gas 4 times with my 205, that needle sucks I loved the digital 7gc gas marker...was so accurate...

not good on your motor with the boost and no fuel

great got rid of yours and gave it to me jk
I think i need a new vacuum modulator, i checked the new vsv i installed a few months ago and i hear a click when applying voltage, took the egr off cleaned the passage ways and tested it on a vacuum pump but i'm still getting a p0401 if anyone has anything i am missing please feel free to chime in

It always happens when Im parked though...sucks big time...

this is over last couple week.
ordered heaps of leds to replace the bulbs
entered 2 sound-off competitions and came 1st in both
plastic bit in radiator leaked (pin holes along the top, superglue + tape = temp fix)
and there was a earthing issue that i think i may have fixed
also... got a st205 bonnet for $240 + 120 shipping... the bidding started at 150 and me and someone else were constantly going at it... if i were to of left it til last minute i would of gotten it cheaper. so on that note people, dont bid at all til late

... am working from home, because its been melting like crazy here for the past few days, and then overnight it all froze again with about 20-30cm of snow on top of it. Makes for a horrid commute.

I'm not going to risk it.

visited New Image Auto Center Inc in Kissimmee and they pulled out my back seat and passenger seat to be recovered WOOT! freshly upholsterd seats will be installed next monday just in time for the Fl meet the following Sun. I went with dark charcoal vinyl outer and med charcoal preforated inserts my interior is gonna start showing some sexiness!


UPDATE: after talking to the guy doing the work I'm now getting the Celica Dragon embroidered into the front seats just have to decide what color, i'm thinking low key having it the same dark charcoal as the outer parts of the seat

Replaced a thermostat and gasket, first time removing components in the engine bay so it was very exciting. Reset the ECU while I was at it and now my idle is much smoother.

the needle was pointed in the middle of the letter E on the fuel gauge. i posted this same question in a thread a while back and i remember some guy posting that his needle went all the way below the letter E.

Not filling your tank all the way and just doing "$5.00 fill ups" etc. can cause your gauge to read improperly. I bet the person who said that does 5 dollar fill ups all the time.

Do you run your tank almost empty then fill it full every time? That's what it sounds like. That's the most ideal way to do it, after all the gas gauge should be accurate..haha.

I hate my gas gauge. I run it till it's almost dry and fill it all the way up, but my E light comes on way, way too early. We have a 15.9 gallon tank and if I fill her up right when the E light comes on, she'll only take about 12.3 gallons.
