so i trade the 3000gt for a miata. it's a slower, more fun car, plus a convertible. I got a few tickets I didn't really need to get, and then i realized i shouldn't be driving something that can go fast that easily, so i found a guy on craigslist, and traded them. It's a 90 Mazda Miata MX-5, 5 speed. It has practically no power options. It does have power steering and an incredibly fast working, powerful A/C. The paint is nearly flawless, and the interior is in really nice condition. It has brand new speakers all the way around, plus a 12" woofer that takes up the entire trunk that i'm contemplating removing. She handles really well; apparently the last owner replaced all the suspension on all four corners. I like this car way more than the 3000gt though. not as much as a hassle. she does have an intermittent stalling issue, not unlike my celica ( in fact it does the same stuff that my celica used to) but i have ordered the ecu, as i popped it open, and sure enough, things were burnt. So that should be fixed soon. The first day i put the top down, i cracked the rear window into a lot of pieces, but just yesterday i bought plexiglass and cut it and glued it to shape, and it looks really nice.

i love this car. but i still want to buy another celica and have this. So if any one is selling a project celica for cheap, let me know.

Ferdi will be jealous. Although the Celica has a lot more curb appeal than a Miata, I've kind of always wanted one. They're genuinely fun little cars to drive, cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, and can be made to look good.

Good trade IMO!

You get: Better handling and overall feel, better reliability, less expense of upkeep, better MPG, better motor sport candidate with some mods(drifting, autox, etc.), and some more!

Cool car man, keep us updated on what you do with it.
