Everytime I apply the brakes I hear a strange clunking sound from the right rear tire area. Any idea what's making the sound?

Most likely the pad and caliper is moving around, I had this happen recently, take everything off and put copper grease on both brake pads ends on both sides, then over the clips put anti brake squeal, whilst you're at it put the correct
grease in the sliding pins and everything should be sorted. |

hate to bring this one back up but im having problems like this with mine, i mentioned in another one that i didnt have the shims, well i called about 100 places and found some and put them on, and like i said put new rotors on my car. it stops but when i stop it makes a noise like the pads dont catch for a second, so i took it off and checked everything again and it seemed fine. i made a video if you listen for a couple seconds the first noise is my dashboard shaking, yesi need new mounts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plRLa-9_BHc ... tell me what you think
thank you |
