Ok so I recently picked up a set of 7th gen GTS wheels off a car in the junkyard (5th gen celi) Anyway I got them home cleaned them up and noticed that they had a bad case of rust bubbles, also I had gotten tires with them but ended up returning them since they were pretty dry rotted. So I have these GTS wheels and I've been thinking about re-finishing them for awhile, and since I'm about to spend a few hours chipping off the rust bubbles, sanding and priming them, minus well paint them something different and "cool". Soo...I'm really leaning toward painting them white, just was wondering what's everyone's thoughts on this? Granted I have a black car so there will be a pretty big contrast that is bound to catch eyes, however I'm just not sure if it'll be more negative than positive. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated maybe pics if someone has painted their 7th gen GTS wheels or whatever

I painted mine about 8 or so months ago, and the paint is chipping now, but i think i didnt give enough time in between coats that caused it, but they look good lol

Try the search button, there is a thread full of pics of just that....

I seem to be having trouble finding that post with nothing but painted GTS wheels. maybe I'm searching the wrong thing? what should I look up to find this post?

lol yea I just finsihed going over it after I replied. So what do you think of white wheels?

What color is your car? Its your car man, you do what you think looks good because your the one who owns,drives and takes care of it.

Lol that's awesome! however since those pics I took off the foggies dropped it and removed those chrome wheel-well strips. but thanks! photoshop ftw!

update us then! hahaha. that's good. wasn't sure where u were heading with ur mods so I left it mostly there. yeah, chrome wheel well strips aren't my thing either.

wish the wheels were MOAR white. kinda still look steel. sorry haven't touched photoshop in forever. LOL! what are your next mods if any?

I honestly don't know, I don't have much money so modding the car isn't something I can get into atm. BUT I am starting to take off the pin stripes
