ok, you guys need to read, hes offering banana lights, those are worth 900, also this one is almost rust free and comes with fiberglass smileys and supra rims.

banana lights

Believe it coming from me.. Youll regret a 700 project. Because its a lot of work. Sure, dont get the lights and its probably 2200 dollars..

That is a good price for a south car, with minimal rust and with louvers..

my 700 car, has rust, and its something you dont want to mess with...

Andrew once in a lifetime go read a little bit before posting...

if i did not have 2 already, this would be mine

Myself, I will take a 700 dollar project, cause thats what it is, a project...something thats going to take time...and I would know it full well before getting into it. Been looking for awhile so me and the kid have something to work on together, then she can have it when she is old enough. Now, I'm not saying that 3K is or isn't a good deal (depends on what you are looking for), but my personal dealings with the seller has left a bitter taste. But hey, thats just me.

I did read Its a RA for full price basically. Yes its fairly rare with kinda rare parts, but your paying for it. If this were 1500$ then yes it would be a chance in a lifetime, not a chance every week like i had stated wink.gif.

If your going to fully restore one of these cars then you need to do exactly that, restore EVERYTHING. So the 700$ special would be just as good as this as this car WILL eventually rust with its 30 year old metal..

AGAIN go read, and ask the guys over there if they could start all over, they would start with a rust free shell or a rust full shell...

Believe me, all the money and time spent on rust, is not worth it.

I just realized myself. a 700 dollar car is a car for parts. Unless by some lucky miracle is a rust free shell...

And since you are not buying it, leave the post for the big men who want toys...

Sorry, this time you have proved my point..

edit:

to put more perspective i just spent 250 on this, so the 700 car is a 1000 car now, plus other repairs i have to do.

So essentially, why do all the crap of work, when all you got to do is lay the paint and swap to drive....

if your good at working metal, rust is not as much of a problem as your making it out to be..it just takes skill, and time.
it all depends on what skills and tools you have to make it happen.

This is a really great deal, and seems very complete. I paid less for my RA29, but it's missing quite a few parts on it, so in the end, I will end up paying more. If I had room for more cars I would have loved to pick this one up!
