Aside from doin that a few times, THE most memorable moment was when I rushed to Dallas to pick up the Black GT2 I bought from Chanh55. 8PM Me and my dad hitched a 2 hr ride with some family to san antonio, got dropped off downtown at the Greyhound bus center. 10PM We spent the next 5 hours in a bus with bad tires shaking like crazy, seats were so close that my knee hits and the guy behind us had a pet rooster. 3-4AM Got to Dallas greyhound station downtown, waited an hour from my drunk uncle to come for us, got lost on the way back to mesquite. 6AM I demanded Mcdonald's deluxe breakfast, which they got wrong 3 times!. 8AM I had the Car delivered to an open lot next to autozone in mesquite in a REAL RACECAR TRAILER!!! hehe i swear people were like WTF is in there and when the guy started it up in there i almost well........u know...haha. I drove it around the lot real quick and heard the blitz DD blow off valve for the first time. Paid the trailer guy, and started driving alllll the way back to laredo. Got to Laredo about 3pm and i gave it a quick wash, put the interior all back together (it was stripped when i got it) and went out for a drive. 30 min later I run into the ONLY legit ITR in town and pull away from it. after that the rest is history. For me the most memorable time in my Celica was coming in second place in my class in Autocross my first time ever. Mind you the Celica is classed with Minis, Subarus including the WRX, and many other comparable cars. The car handled great and the plentiful low-end torque helped a lot.

Sunroof was a big help. Forgive me but how? PM if this is too adult for open posting. Ha, yeah I think we're pushing it here, but...not a lot of headroom for 2 people occupying the same space. Open sunroof helps alleviate the problem. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Mar 15, 2011 - 12:18 PM -------------------- |
