Im very close to ordering my 4age blacktop however I am confused about the transmission. I have read on here that the 7a tranny will bolt up to it. MY question is if the tranny from the 4age will bolt up to the celica. Since I do have the st and its a 7afe I know that the motor mounts are not a problem. If this tranny does work great and if not any suggestions?? seeing as how the engine I would be ordering would have the transmission or if i should just order the engine.....( ecu wiring harness belts pumps are already accounted for here)

The transmission will work, try to get a set up with a transmission included, ususally you can find one with an lsd with it

Any 4age tranny will bolt up to the stock st mounts. If you have a choice try to pick up a 4agze tranny out of a 87-88 mr2, great ratios, strong synchros, and has a lsd.
