This is like my exterior post. I want to have the interior look its best before any meets so I was wondering what I could do. I am going to get reverse glow gauges from ebay, clean up the carpet again, get floor mats, and im not sure from their; would seat covers be a good idea?, any help is much appreciated

reverse glow gauges look good depending on the style so go for it!, floor mats id get some custom ones made up in something you like, and seat covers are a good idea only if you get the fitted kind there more expensive but they look so much better then the cheap ones....or even exchange the seats all together like say the back from a mr2 seat or replace it with a seat from another car ect...

You can just change the gauge color, pretty easy and the bulbs are at autozone, only like $5 too
I think you already painted a bunch of pieces if i remember, which cleans it up alot. I have just normal seat covers, and people constantly tell me i have cool racing seats.. im like well, your an idiot, but thanks lol

You keep using the word "better", which is pretty ambiguous.

A better interior for me? Stock. Clean. No sh*tty painted dash pieces, no crappy reverse glow gauges, no seat covers, no aftermarket floormats.

Stock trim, stock gauges, stock seat covers, stock floormats. Perfect interior.

Then I will just say what are some other relatively cheap things I can do to make my interior non stock. I like the stock look but not 100%

i think advanced or autozone has some semi nice seat covers, like R or S racing or something (assuming its the look you want)
And the climate control is very different, requires soldering, and wiring, someone used to do them for a fee, but i dont think hes on here any more.
You can do under seat and dash LED strips, and i put LEDs in the heater vents/door handles. I think i gave you a pic b4, but if you want one just tell me and ill find it.
its all kinda dependent on what you are into, as said above

lol, I have those done already; I should have pointed out that I have painted my panels (not too many of them) white, and I plan on getting revere glow gauges because they are cheap, then floor mats and seat covers. As ofor what seat covers I dont know because I think most of them are too flashy and cheasy

I did the silver thing too, then reverted back to stock.

Definitely do LED for every damn bulb in the car, But paint seems to be a flavour of the month thing. Black is where it's at !

1998+ 6gc Celica or 2000+ 7gc Celica steering wheel for sure too.

Short shifter kit is good too, and a TRD gear knob.

Oh and DCW's gauge insert thingie with the cups around the gauges, that'd be awesome too

LIKE.

I don't quite like 100% stock in some situations, i did change my interior from a tan cloth (ew) to black and charcoal gray vinyl, new black carpet, charcoal gray ceiling, and vinyled the sunroof door. Painted the dash to match the seats, very subtle colors though... no high contrast in the car whatsoever. Got a new oem shift boot which makes me happy every time i shift smile.gif.

I have a thread going for my new trunk interior that i'm making from scratch (although hasn't been updated in a while), but Im finished in about 2 days! Pics to come soon.

Check out my kit @ Spree LED

You cant get reverse glow bulbs but I can provide you with led's and a coloured clock filter for the rest of the dash to match up better then the stock bulbs to your reverse glow gauges if you want. I also provide full instructions and the kit is unique.

This is probably one of the better mods you could do...

Or you could go crazy like this guy did:

rolleyes.gif Jeez what kind of a weiner does that to his car...

... oh, wait kindasad.gif

I really like these but it would be almost 2X as much for me because of shipping to the states =(. why does all the awesomness have to be in the UK; you already have topgear lol

can you elaborate on the door cards? I also made a short shifter and got a leather replacement shift knob, I do need a new boot mine is worn out =(

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I want to do so much but being a student it sucks so I have to just take it one thing at a time.

Sorry are you talking about the reverse glow gauges or my Spree LED dash kits that I produce?

Because......(drum roll)..........I ship my kits worldwide at no extra cost over a local UK delivery! ;-)

It will work, doesn't matter what you have, you only have to say you have the US spec and you will get the lights tailored for it, I am getting mine in soon I can't wait.
