Hahaha. Congrats! Thats awesome...! Thank you. I'm pretty happy and proud of myself, never thought I'd do it. If I didn't cut a deal it woulda costed all the money I was going to dump into buying a new tranny...instead it cost me half of it. Lol. Completely worth it though! |

Speaking from experience; marriage is great, having a kid is even better... but say goodbye to the time you used to spend modifying the car. Hahahaha. Don't let my pics deceive you, I'm just getting back into the modding game after a 3 year hiatus. My daughter turns 3 this month, and I got a fat raise at my work, so I can finally afford new stuff!! YAY! -------------------- |

Started the day seeing a black Aston Martin DB9 and thought....this is going to be a good day. Then I got to connect with the st finally after taking a drive in the country roads with my uncle on his racing spec Ducati 748 and his friend on his GSXR...what a fun day it was

so after my road trip last christmas to Vegas and L.A., it seems the trip caused my headgasket to blow and leak oil into the cooling system. I realized this the moment I got back. also, the car engine has gotten a lot louder at any rpm even at a stop which leads me to think that there are bearings/pulleys that need to be replaced. i still have to find out which but it sounds like a hissing/grinding noise coming from the timing belt side. upon further inspection, there is more noise now and i hear noise leaking from the intake manifold where it meets the head. to top it off, there is also some exhaust leak in the downpipe which needs to be addressed. so right now i'm stuck between getting a 3rd gen swap or just repairing the problems. the thing is i'm a bit leary about turbo seals wearing in -30 temperatures since i drive my car all winter. i am getting my tax refund soon and i want it to go towards my car, but i'm still trying to figure out the best long-term decision.

Do the swap but keep it NA - I've always thought a nice red Beams would look good in your car... -------------------- |

I got my SS low rise head cap bolts in.
M6 1.0 x 16mm they will be replacing all the bolts that hold the fenders on and such yay for a meaningless small update. I tried to find them in titanium (to cut weight)...but mcmaster didn't offer metric sizes in Titanium. This post has been edited by playr158: Apr 16, 2011 - 12:14 PM |

I took off my old rusted out doors and the put on my new/2 years older than my car doors on . thanks to SoDo I got the same color as my car. I just have to buff out the white pin strip. I also installed a used aftermarket head unit that I took form my uncles garage. Since I haven't had a radio since I got the car. I just got it out of the shop a few weeks ago and haven't had time to fix it and found out that one of my speakers is blown.
