Nice one. Thank you very much for posting these.

Looks good man and show's very well what the kit looks like on a US car. The blue is rather washed out on these pics but it shows the light spread well.

Glad you are happy. :-)

Hopefully these Pics work, i'm not familiar with posting photos.
I installed a blue LED kit from Spree into my 95 ST204, It turned out very nice imo.

These were taken by an IPhone so sorry if they aren't the greatest quality.

These are not the best quality pics but you get the idea.

I'm producing a better filter for the clock this week to counteract the slight green tinge that the light emits even when the green filter is removed. You can see the green tinge in the photo above. I am using a special light filter gel that is specifically designed for this purpose. :-)

This will make the clock match the white kit better.

I am just waiting for the filter material to arrive as we are on a public holiday over here so everybody is out getting drunk lol.

I will have it by the end of this coming week though by hook or by crook!

Finished perfecting my installation on getting everything blue. I been having issues with starter ring installation, Julian could you help me on this? The LED doesn't stay lit for some reason, not sure why. I haven't been able to change the clock film or install the HVAC yet. But I like the way the turnout is for the guage cluster.

Hi mate,

Speedo looks good.

The starter ring is not supposed to stay lit.

It lights up for 5 seconds after you unlock the car so that you can see where to put the key.

Don't worry about it!

For the HVAC unit, when you disconnect the black and blue cables under the hood and by the pedal and disconnect the harnesses in the back, does the whole unit come out along with the cables? And also I noticed in the instructions u said you could pull the unit out a bit to get to the little screws holding the climate control plate in. If those screws are removed could the face plate just come off and you can work on fitting the bulbs?

Hi,

Yes thats right.

I fitted one of these on a car with cables a couple of days ago and I found that if you release the cables, you can then pull the unit forward enough to access all the screws without having to remove the unit and the cable completely. This makes refitting much easier as I can imagine that getting those cables back in once they are fully removed would be a PITA.

You pull off the large knob after you have removed the small screws on the top and bottom and the unit should come away from the part attached to the cables, there are some plastic clips on the side that you may have to release in order to do this.

You can then take apart the rest of the unit to fit the led's. I found that you actually dont have to thread the led's through the top of the circuit board as I have mentioned in the update to the instructions if you dont want to as they will go in through the bottom if you angle them in sideways an then straighten them again once they have gone through. This will save you having to take that bit apart.

This is the most fiddley part of the installation on a US car so just take your time and double check that the led wires are not crossed or touching in any way after you have fitted them before you check for polarity.

I took an extra pic of the climate control coming apart that I will upload tomorrow if you want?

Yeah that would be cool man. I looked at it like how the heck would i get the wiring back through the firewall without breaking my back and de-attaching my arm >_< I'll give it a try tonight, i just need to remove the knobs and i think the unit will come apart. The tiny screws are already out

Nice one, you should only need to remove the large knob and the unit will come apart.

Here are a couple of pics as promised.

I only needed to remove the large knob as shown.

And the unit coming apart.

You can then install the leds at your leisure!

I finished sending all kits last week apart from the white one's as I was still waiting for some filter material as the company had forgot about me!

Those are being sent tomorrow.

There is a guy in the UK that says that he has still not got his yet so I am not surprised they have not all arrived in the states yet as there has been tons of 'bank holidays' over here lately so I think thats put everything behind.

I haven't even been able to go out at all this weekend as my money has not cleared into my bank due to all of this bank holiday nonsense!!

I'm sure your kits will be with you very soon.
