Just wondering if we can get a how to on how to put Supra Head and Taillights in our 6th Gens. Seen pictures of a couple. Sure you would have to do some kind of modifying to make them fit right and have to adjust the electrical in some way. So what say you smile.gif

I dont think there is a "e how" on this because there are too many modifications and a lot of body work.
IMO supra's headlights and tail lights looks really nice but in supras not in celicas... Celicas have to look like celicas they are already sexy the way they are. And more sexier if you get projectors and jdm tails wink.gif

Ive done the headlights....

From my own DIY experience this is how it should go.

1) buy supra headlights (ebay)
2) buy a front bumper (body kit of choice supra or celica is fine)
3) find a body shop
4) drop car off
5) write check for a lot
6) drive car away

if i was to change the styling of the celicas tail lights or headlights i would be doing something one off, not trying to make a celica what it's not. one dudes celica on the boards has porsche headlights looks pretty good, me personaly i like the four eye look. if you want to change your celicas image you can always convert to a curren replica.

Well ive done a supra rear end conversion on mine but theres alot that needs to be done for the lights to fit properly and look good. the rear bumper was actually the easiest part to do i can do a write up for you but its gonna take some time. My conversion was done in a 24 hr period cuse i had to work the next day then i changed the design quit a bit later to suit wut i liked

Step 5 is the critical step - if you don't do this juuuuust right, Step 6 won't happen at all.

theres already some celicas with supra tail lights search around the forums and honestly to custom fit these you will need to know how to work with metal and weld.and also know how to fiberglass... takes a good bit of work if you want it done right...do some researching on retrofitting headlights and tail lights onto different cars then apply it to the 6gc..but i wouldnt do supra do something unique, something one off that nobody else has.

Im doing the supra rear now, its alot of work. If you dont think you can do it... you cant, plain and simple. Unless you write a big check.
lol its really up to your own style. I have a celi with projectors and jdm tails, which is really nice looking. But its not quite the aggressive/custom look that I want for my other celica.
Everyone has their opinion, but its ultimately your choice

Sincerily I dont understand why you have to change, this taillights of celi are beautiful and dont change the original look of the car.

on the plus side our headlights are constructed of glass!! which doesn't give you that hazy plastic headlight look in the long run.

Huh? Out of the 5 Celicas I've owned, all have had glass headlights.
