I'm curious to know if anyone has this hood (similar to gt4 style hood) and how the fitment is. I know the OEM gt4 hood has the space in the front unless you have the gt4 front end but I'm thinking this particular hood wouldn't have that issue since.

This is the hood I'm referring to :

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not necessarily going to buy from this place but wanted to post a reference for the hood I'm talking about. Thanks for the heads up though...I didn't realize they were shady.

i'm pretty sure that one won't fit unless you have a gt4 front end you can see the rise in the front, but i have this hood that's similar

Cool. so the vis version has the gap. do you like the hood overall? I was also considering that one.

oh i love it, the fitment is great, there is a small tiny gap between the hood and bumper but its hardly noticeable, I bought mine from shannon about a year ago and it definitely adds a couple more head turns to the car

from what i have heard...the seibon gt4 look a like should fit and not generate any hood and bumper gap....it's longer than the normal gt4 hood to meet up with the stock front bumper...not the st205 hood length...

someone correct me on this...but I was positive it fit the normal ST202/ST204 models, but not the ST205 or any ST20X with the Gt4 ST205 bumper on. only true one that will have a gap is the RTP Performance (yellowchinaman) ST205 CF hood.

Bulletproofautomotive.com also has the gt4 cf hood and fits perfect. They hand lay it once you order. it's not pre-made like most companies. Pre-made hoods can cause imperfections. Rtp is not the only true one that has the gap. Bulletproofautomotive.com also has that gap that your talking about. Seibon makes mass production so some hood will fit and some won't fit as good

I see bulletproofautomotive sells the c-one and varis gt4 carbon fiber hood for our cars. Which one are you talking about? Also, does it fit perfect or not? In the first sentence you say it has perfect fitment but later state there is a gap. Sorry for the confusion smile.gif

I'm talking about the st205 cf hood.. St205 hood will always have a gap on st204 front bumper. The gap is from the bulge in the middle of the hood which means u need st205 front bumper for perfect fitment..but from what im reading from the above posts, the gap they are talking about is where the hood meets the bumper(where the rubber piece goes). They are saying that seibon's st205 hood are longer than oem to make it meet with front bumper so there will be no gap there

Look in my profile and youll see the hood on my car. And if u want to see the gap that they are talking about I'll take pics and post it

Edit: ok so I re-read your first post and u want a gt4 look-a-like hood for your st204. Sorry for confusion I was responding to Cha Cha, but I have seen gt4 look-a-like hood for st204 but forgot who sells them and don't know about fitment.
