You have to figure out which ones are power and which are ground. That switch has to be ground because of the light inside. Otherwise the power works right through like a breaker. So you have to figure out where your power line runs and this causes a separation in it. So you cut the power wire in half and run this right through (the two power ends) and then extend the ground onto a screw on the frame. Easy peasy Japanesey.

Installed the gauges back into the car and snapped a shot.

Today I pushed an "Easy" button. Passenger airbag removal is a PITA, and you have to do it lying upside down in the car. Well...

What can I say? I got sick of her always being on top. I want to be on top for once.

Woooo! airbag removal! That's just like my car haha no airbags or wiring at all wink.gif

and I got these babies on today smile.gif

Next project tomorrow is do replace the tie rod ends and give my car a semi alignment because it's sooo bad. Both wheels are facing inward and the passenger side is turned in pretty far...
And yes, I know guys, it needs to be lowered. Let's just hope my struts start to go so I can get new ones and put on lowering springs.

To clarify, I mention court because I'm thinking of pursuing the ticket to be dropped, not that I'm going to court for my careless driving, necessarily. Anyway, I took a 15 MPH (marked) curve in a bit of a hot fashion. This is a secluded piece of two-lane, but it was damp. It's a very tight 90 followed by another tight 90 in the opposite direction, at which a cop was parked, who had already pulled somebody over. I saw the lights right as I was exiting the corner, so with braking I understeered slightly into the other lane but was able to stop the car right away because the LEO was already yelling at me to pull over. No big deal, really, it wasn't even a loss of control. Still, I garnered a ticket for careless driving...

Glad to hear you weren't swerving in and out of traffic during rush hour! laugh.gif

Well, sounds a bit like regular spirited driving to me; you shouldn't take too much heat if he doesn't appear for court or if you can have it thrown out by the DA as frivolous. Good luck either way my friend.

Yeah no, not that bad...

The LEO has no record of me speeding, and I can defend myself based on the fact that I anticipated a potential stop for an emergency vehicle, so it's a possibility. Court fees scare me though...
