Damn who would of thought that gettig rims and tires can get so damn complicated!...any ways just throwing this out there...i recently bought a set of rims now the twist is that the rims are aftermarket MOMO's from a BMW...E34 i belive.. at first people may be like why would you get that but hey i really like them so i plan on keeping them, i know i have to get adapters and i know they stick out. i plan to drop my car eventully i just what to hear with what tires profile i should go with, currently on the tires on the rims are 205/55/16 what one of my freind tells me to go to 185 or 195, i was thinking what if i did go 195 but instead of 55 go 50? would that be to thin of a profile, i will have to roll the front fender as it is but i dont want to go to thin on a tire

To ensure proper speeds, you must match overall diametres of your stock wheel and tire combo to your new wheel and tire combo.

The short rule of thumb is that for every additional inch of wheel size, the sidewall aspect should be reduced by 10 and the tire width increased by 10 -- but that's a rough rule and your better choice is to use a tire size calculator.

My personal favourite is the http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculato...p?action=submit -- however, given your post I would suggest reading through http://www.1010tires.com/tech.asp
