so you cant make a claim because UPS said it was delivered, huh?

Pretty much.

My only recourse was to have Amazon mail me another battery, which they are doing, and wait for it's arrival. Again. This time though I have called Amazon and requested that they have the package held at my local UPS Ground facility so that I can pick it up. It's inconvenient since I'll have to leave/miss work but for the piece of mind and reassurance that I get my merchandise it's worth it.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out tomorrow.

No thats BS - you make the claim with UPS anyways. Tell them it doesn't ****ing matter what it says in their system, the item in question was never recieved.

Did anyone sign for it at the front desk? Don't they usually have to sign into a log book or something when there are visitors or deliveries? Whats the damn point of a front desk if they're not there to look out for the building's security?

... are there cameras in the building??

Kaos,

No, no one signed for it at the front desk. And usually, we do have to sign for our packages and I do believe the UPS guy signs a log IF he goes to the office but since the community isn't gated he has no reason to go there unless he can't deliver a package.

Also, no cameras in the building or around the complex - it's old and not super modern. Just another reason to leave this complex at the end of my lease.

I will contact UPS to file a complaint once I have more information (the lack of a signature at the leasing office, etc.).

That trunk lid is great, Grega! Debadged all but T-symbol is the best looking trunk lid, IMO. If it's completely debadged, it looks kind of odd.

Popped a tire going over a bridge on the highway last night. The tire didn't burst, it started driving a bit odd, so I pulled over and looked at it. Tire was not flat, but it was low, went to take it off to find that it was torqued down by a gorilla (impact wrench at the garage that did my suspension most likely) and had to wait to get a breaker bar to get it off. Once off, I found a hole in the sidewall, so I put my donut on (which was also low...) and drove the little ways left to my house. The next morning (today) I get to the tire shop and they inform me that they do not have any tires of my size in stock and have to have one delivered (30 minutes or so) problem is I was already running late to work. So they put on a tire that is slightly thinner, and let me go to work while they order the correct size tire for me (Very awesome service, these guys are the best). Pretty crappy situation though..

i receieved the ebay hidden antenna i ordered and installed it just on the inside of the rear window near the top so its hidden. And now I can finally listen to the radio again after having cut the power to my humongous power antenna which is taller than the car itself. Now will take out the old one completely and cover the hole.

Drove an hour and a half to buy a window regulator and motor.....Now to install it! Well, got everything installed just before the downpour (which was not in the weather report!), good thing the windows are up!

Replaced distributor cap and rotor. Advanced my timing to ~15 BTDC. Also, got confused with a supra, which was interesting. lol.

^ Autozone parts guy thought mine was a Supra for a second, then realized it was a Celica, then proceeded to tell me that his brother had stuffed a 2JZ into this generation. I briefly went , then realized that he probably meant All-Trac. So I went "All-Trac" and Herp Gonzalez went "yerp."
