Well yesterday it was pouring kinda hard, and i was coiming outta this turn at 35 and this ass in a civic is not even in his lane and almost hits my rear end so i paniced and swurved outta the way and i hit the f****ing curb, my drivers side wheel smacked into the curb, and this ass aint even stop to check if i was out, luckly my friend was in front of me he stopped to help me out, and since he or i dont know much bout engine and stuff we didnt know what to do, so i called my dad told him what happend and he told me to call my cousins whos a machanic, so when he arrived he looked at it and said its prolly the front axle, and the lower control arm, ten we tried to push it while one of us tried to reverse the car, the car wouldn't reverse, then when he was putting the gear back to park we hear this awful griding noise then he told me the tranny might be ****ed, then when my dad should up i got the biggest bitching i ever hear from him. then we called a towtruck to tow it back to my house, and he sais that it could be my tranny and my engine, but my engine started up fine. So basically im screwed im a highschool senoir and i dont have a job and now this, so from what i heard from them is if we fix the axle and lower control arms then we can test the tranny if its ok ,but if the tranny is gone then i dunno, my cousin just said to sell the car, but i dont want to do that, also something bout if the frame is bent then all is lost, and im not sure if insurance can do anything bout this, well if anyone can help in any way i would appreciate it all i know is my dad is pissed and i have to do something , so has this happened to anyone, also what are prices for a 94 axle, lowercontrol arms, St tranny, and incase frame work. man im screwed cause i wont know how the tranny is until we fix the lower control arms and the axle, but if we fixed it and the tranny is screwed, then....damn it. sorry bout all the language. thanks guys

You'd be surprised...when i worked at the dealership i had a car come in one time that hit a rock in the road busted the tranny case and tore up the engine cradle and totally screwed up the underside of the car! But their insurance covered it fully minus their deductible. So i'd really check with your insurance on that...as for prices...dang to replace it with all new stuff your looking at probably around 2k dollars parts and labor for the complete job if you have to replace the trans. and the control arm and all. I'd definately try to find a used trans. if you have to replace it if possible to save the money if you have to pay for it out of your pocket. if it was me, personally i'd go with new parts on the suspension just so you won't get anything that might break from a used celica. but I really do think your insurance will cover this for you!

go here. They will hook you up. Just get a price from somewhere else first then tell them that you can get it for 100 less than the price that you were quoted and they will go lower than that.

Yeah last winter I screwed up my Celica real good, when I hit my friend's in his 98 Talon (his first day driving it). The insurance paid for all $4000 dollars of it. Unfortunatly they have decided to have me start paying it back this year in a significant raise in rates. But hey since they had to repaint about half the car I paid $2000 for them to finish the rest of it. Which is goofd for two reasons; one the exact color match wasn't very exact and two 120,000 miles had nearly destroyed the paint on the front spoiler. So you never know what might come out of the situation.

damn no celica is safe. I just got an estimate to fix a cracked windshield and a few paint chips. $1574.10

He said that he has to repaint the hood, front bumper, the two side fendes, and the doors. He has to do that because the color is really hard to find. And because the chips are so spread apart. It's good cuz bug stains have ruined my front bumper.

Edit: He will have the car for 3-4 days though.
