don't swap an A series motor into a GT. especially not the 7afe lol
the mounting spots are different on the passenger side between the ST and GT, but I'm not sure about the front or back. |

they are basically different mounts, and technically it sounds correct just by looking at the bodies. but i read a long time ago that 5sfe upgrades to 3sge and 7afe upgrades to 4age with more ease, than trying to go from a 7afe to 3sge. correct me if im wrong folks.

"S" series into an "A" series chassis requires drilling 2 holes on the passanger side frame rail, and either cutting a hole, and welding a nut in place, or using threaded rod to go thru the frame rail with nuts on each end. there are 2 "dimples" in the ST chassis that actually mark the location of where the mount goes, so its just a matter of buying a long drill bit, and making the hole. converting an GT to an ST is just wrong in so many ways. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
