Jacksonville, not many Celis around here that I have seen.
Started installing my Vincent interior. Going to be a slow process between school work and girlfriend, things are gonna be tight. Anyone have any advice with the armrest cover from Vincent, I saw Malpaso's guide, but I figure there has to be an easier way than making holes and stretching strings across to get it to fit properly. Also, during that trip I noticed that my CC is not working properly 100% of the time, I have to set the speed many times before it will take. I am fairly positive that it isn't the stalk itself, as I just wired that up and all the resistances are doing what they are supposed to be doing, I suspect either the CC ecu, or the wiring (maybe the switch on the brakes, but I am not sure about that). i did it with string but contact cement might work fine. but i have mine for like 2-3yrs with the string method.

Thanks for the tip Spy, maybe I will try the string method then if yours has lasted all this time. I put the leather cover on one of my headrests, and I am pretty happy with the results, I can't wait to see the whole interior done.

if your going to do that i suggest nylon string and don't cut the holes near the edge there should be plenty of room in there just to be safe and pull it just tight (not TOO tight but enough) i used this its thin and strong

I've had mine using the string nearly as long as Vince has been selling the armrest cover, and I did a second one that way a couple of years ago. It's tried and true. Once you screw the armrest back together, that helps tighten it up and secure it.

Received and installed my 4 gauge amplifier wiring kit, generally tidying up the install like I've always wanted to. Proper wiring, and also tying down the sub box so it doesn't slide around and end up in my neck when I'm braking.

today i drifted .................
in the bad way and couldn't install my underbody panel all cuz of ....  i don;t know about anywhere else but it snowing already in October and this much no bueno also im now on the hunt for 4 good winter tires i learned that today. -------------------- *Thing i want for my car(i wish i had money)*

Wow, that's pretty early for snow indeed. Lucky.
Washed and waxed the Celica this afternoon. This was the first time since she's been back from the body shop, so it's nice to see a clean and undamaged car again. The right fender still needs attention as the previous owner presumably rubbed the bottom edge, where it meets the bumper, against a curb. There are also two quarter-sized dents. Otherwise, the car is wonderful to look at. Tomorrow, center-cap hunting will occur. I figure I can find a few '06-'09 Corollas wrecked in a junkyard... I'm hoping to arrange a camera soon, so I can actually post worthwhile pictures instead of simply spewing stupid sentences all the time.

I installed front toyota brake pad shims. aaahhh what a relieve. no more squeaky brakes!!
