my Cigarette Lighter is not working and i have no idea why!! some friend told me that i could be the fuse but i dont even know where it is located... kindasad.gif can someone pleasee help mee!!

Well, driving and talking on the phone is probably just as hazardous to your health. Anyway, check for 12 volts at the center of the lighter socket. It's probably just dirty. Try cleaning it with the eraser on a pencil.

Does your radio still work? If yes, it's not the fuse. You have a bad AC port. New ones are like $20 at a dealer and super easy to install.

Mine didn't work when I got my car, if you look inside the cig lighter there are 2 "wing" looking things on the sides. Bend those inwards a little and see if they make contact after that, worked for me.

toyota Cig lighter has a built in fuse, if they are shorted out, it may damage the unit itself, if the fuse is fine, you'll need a new assambly as described before.
