I'm going to voice my opinion here, as it is just that, an opinion.... but I don't buy the whole "I have a motor to swap in so I must replace EVERY SEAL and part on the motor", effectively x3 the cost. I would EXAMINE the timing belt. If good shape, keep it. I would EXAMINE the motor and observe possible leaks, and replace those seals specifically. IDK. a motor goes 20 years with 220k miles and never needs a headgasket. So why does this motor NEED a head gasket. Just seems like a waste to me. But it's your motor. And I'll be looking for the pics of it apart smile.gif

would you rather be safe than sorry though? something could go not long after it is put in the car. It may even last a year or two, but why take the time to strip it down once it's in the car if you already had it out at one point? It's more of a security and you know about how long it should last since you replaced it

ok I don't plan on pulling the whole motor apart im ment more along the line of like valvecover gaskets intake gasket basically gaskets for whatever I remove but im also going the replace a few other things here an there like timing belt an water pump since it'll be harder once motor is in
im planing a full rebuild maybe next winter so I can have the option to bolt on the ted supercharger without the need to rebuild then an take longer to do
hope that explains it all better
but you both have very good point just depends on the person
