Took the car out today. Almost home from work, like 8mins. and BAM! Tagged for recon by a Charger Cop.

His and my exact words
Cop: Why were you driving like that?
Me: I'm sorry Sir?
Cop: Why. You. Driving like that?...
Me: Sorry Officer I left it in 2nd gear and high revved but I didn't break the speed limit. I'm very sorry, I'm just really tired from work. (Back of my head DAMN TRUCK TIP!!!)
Cop: You serious? Really serious?....
Me: Yes Sir, I'm not lying to you. We received inventory today and I'm seriously brain dead. I'm very sorry.
Cop: Your car is pretty LOW isn't it? I need to see your License, Reg, Insurance and Reconstruction papers!

...5mins later while starring at my wheels lo
"You do know you're car isn't approved for any sort of drop? You do know I can tag you for recon fraud?" all with a smirk on his face

...........FAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I gotta raise the car to legal limits and get it approved. The 6 won't see the road for another 4months.

I guess car goes back to stock

BULLSH!T THAT SUCKS MAN

Xmas gifts came in the mail. Super fast shipping especially during Holiday Season. Ironically this is a "Recon" item laugh.gif Its for the TRD bumper

Same here, license plate height min. 12". Center of headlight to the ground minimum 22".

The car used to sit at 19 3/4 from the ground to center of headlight. Today I got it to 22 1/4".

There is also the "Bounce" test, suspension travel when front of the car must show atleast a 1 3/4" bounce to pass. Sadly the car only bounces no more that 1/2"..................so I'm screwed

This is with the dampening setting at the absolute softest setting.

Full strip down and cleaning of wiring. dont know which bumper to put on for the inspection. I really hate seeing the car like this.

Installed Volvo premium speakers that left me from putting 2 Volvos together biggrin.gif They're f**king awesome! They are louder and tougher then aftermarket speakers within range of 200$ and have an amazing 5cm (2inch) magnet at the back biggrin.gif So now, I'm riding with 8 speakers in my car and the sound is just insane bowdown.gif I think, I'll need an amplifier soon biggrin.gif

Today I put the hood back on the Celica. Doesn't sound impressive, right? It is when there's a new BEAMS under the hood biggrin.gif

Not a chance laugh.gif
Got some hood dampers installed quick and easy. One problem, at full lift it holds fine but tap it down 2-3in. the hood drops fast. That is very unsafe if a big gust blows and the hood drops while you're looking in the bay
