i got a godspeed one for my celica refresh.. still in the process of working on the car so can not say as to the how it functions, but it is fairly well put together, just some more polishing on a few spots.. the welds seem solid.. my only complaint is that mine has some of the zig-zag fins are a bit out of sinc.. like some protrude from the rows and some are too deep. but nothing that is so bad that i would not get another one for my other celi (assuming it works fine, and the other celi needs it)

Yeah I hear you about the teperature, its brutal. Im getting my car back on its feet and letting it recover from a blown headgasket repair. But Im trying to find good full pics of the undercarriage of our cars to sketch some ideas for exhaust but its hard to find. And I cant really get a pic of mine just cuz ive been working the past couple of days at the shop and have schhol and stuff like that

Love your celica your timeline was awesome to go through ^_^
I reckon for a 6th gen the look you've gone for suits well, all bar the wheels, a pair of 17 RRS, or Rays lights would set this car right off. laugh.gif

took out the rad. cleaned up the fans. One of the rubber mounts for the rad is missing so I am going to pick up on from toyota tomorrow. Should have the rad at my door by the end of the week.

EDIT.
when I was draining the system, I freshened up the fans. no more old cat pee yellow

T, Have you ever looked upon RT-P new wide diffuser? any thoughts or opinion on it? sorry, I don't mean to steal your thread, but just curious since you have the little one made for our 6gc, although it is just a universal which is what both the small and wider one are labeled as.

Figured you had the smaller diffuser, you said you saw a gain in support in higher speed, you think a bigger wider one should be more effective?

not really sure. the wider one is about half the length of the one I have. I like the length of mine because it covers basically everything just up to he rear subframe, and it channels the air away from that big pocket of space above the diffuser. With the wider diffuser (if it where longer) it would be great (for me) because it would re-direct air coming into the empty space where my original exhaust used to be and the same for the other side.

someone should try it out. I would like to see what it looks like. It only comes in fiberglass, no CF frown.gif

the material doesnt effect the performance, just a matter of style. when I got mine, there was only CF.

I read your pm and the reason its so short is because the gas tank is right there so there isnt any empty pockets.

so for out non gt4 models the wider and longer, the better.

here are the mounting points for the diffuser and the parts for the mounting on the bumper. still have to look for where i put the notes on subframe mount parts

Rear Bumper Mount:
for the nylon spacers the long ones size is
1/2 x .257 x 1
smaller nylon spacer
5/8 x 1/4 x 3x8
hex capped screw with the thread just on the end. used to connect to the bumper
M6-1.00 x 65

edit* idk why these are so small

spacers for rear bumper
