I thought VIS was suppose to be a higher end brand? Although $300 does sound fairly cheap considering my veilside front retails for $800. You sure it wasn't something like a VIS replica? That fitment is beyond horrible...

All my kit was from VIS and fitment sucked.. My whole kit sideskirts rear lip and front bumper all had to have a lot of work to get it to fit. Any fiber glass body kit will never fit perfect.. unless your very lucky.. i've went through two front bumpers from same place. First one was alot better fitting wise than my second one.. But thats how it'll always be.. goodluck man.

My fiberglass veilside fit perfect. All body lines lined up. Looked like oem fitment.

i dont understand why these bodykit manufacturers dont make better molds or keep them in the molds for a longer time before popping them out, or they need to put some strengthining ribs into the first layer of glass, im betting that kit had some heavy shrinkage it really looks like a defect, most kits even if they are cheap will have better fitment not looking to be 2-3 inches off, i would contact vis themselves. that has to be the worst fitment ive seen. more the reason why id rather get a gt-four bumper and an aftermarket lip would be cheaper in the long run.

I'm so glad I never got this bumper, thanks for the heads up everyone (when I posted in my progress thread a while back).
Sorry to see the bad fitment, can't really trust stuff like that, it's usually a hit or miss

VIS is a good brand but like all companies who manufacture things in large quantity you're bound to have SOME errors, and that where andy's comes in. Its why their stuff is cheaper then the manu. because they buy the parts that are sub-par for those companies. it doesn't mean they are damaged or unsafe, they just have minor (or in your case severe) defects.
I bought my sparco seats and the holes for the bracket where slightly off, my 5p straps, 1 strap is longer than the other and my bumper i bought was so botched it wasn't even close.

I think it's because of mass production. A company makes a mold and cycles a high number of kits through it, meaning the molds heat and cool and have immense stress put on them and then they warp, causing horribly fitting body parts.
