When I first got my RS-5s, hell even the stock rims, John would ask me when we were gona go rally that bitch cause she was so high. I would say that the next thing that you should do is get some lowering springs to help kill the gap. But it will look high compared to the other cars out there.

take a look on my profile, the SR (in the parking lot shot) is on 16's on stock suspension.
The GT on my driveway is on 17's (215/40/17) and has been lowered 40mm by SPAX springs..

IMHO if you put 17's on it will look a bit 4x4 until you lower it.... if you can afford it just springs would be the best idea.. A set of SPAX springs cost me £120, and another £120 to be fitted (by a main dealer) and have the car fully tracked and aligned - it's now completely spot on Toyotas recommentation ! biggrin.gif

I have 18's on with stock height. I have 215/40 tires. There is a little space between the top of the tire and the wheel well, but check out my picts in my profile.

It just looks funny, you'd expect it to look a bit lower since the tires on teh rims aren't as "fat" as stock tires. It's pretty noticeable when you got rims and it isn't lowered.

I think it'll look even funnier, cuz the gap between the tire and the fender will still be very noticeable.
