hey guys, the mr2 guys are having a cruise next week, Saturday September 24th. Meet at BattleCreek Park, it's right off i-94 and McKnight Ave, east st.paul. They might bbq around 10am, and then leave at 11am for the cruise. They're heading down south to the Wabasha/Lacrosse area. If you guys don't know, that area is notorious known to a lot of people, a lot of fun twisty roads, it's also paved very nicely. My celica wont be done, but it'll be drivable for the cruise so i'll be there. Tell ur toyota buddies! See everyone there!

BUMP!!!! Damn, it's been so long. Surprised to say that I'm building a Camry on this forum. Hopefully I'll get enough spark to finish my Celica project that's been on hold for so long.

My goal is to be the first 6GC person to finish in both looks and engine department. I won't be the fastest, but I'll have a complete car. I just gotta finish some quick stuff on the Camry first. My daily and swag mobile.

What up new peeps! Sorry that the welcome commitee missed out. Most veteran members moved on. Regardless of any 6GC meets, I'll try to attend most Toyota Meets this year.

I'll be buying some power tools once I get my tax return and try working on the car everyday possible. So much ideas that the 6GC community needs. Anyone who needs a hand or wanna help is free to do so.....cough cough Greg. Time to start rolling things into action.

I'm currently looking for an engine harness if Will's not gonna give me his. Save a stack of money and send out my harnesses to Tweak. While rebuilding the 3S motor I have slowly. I have most parts just laying around, it's time to quit playing and get 'er dun.

Wassup Ger, So you gonna get your Celica running? 2012? the year for you. Can't wait for you to finish, Well, here whats have gone since I last spoken with you. I rebulit my motor, top to bottom. Upgrage turbo kit 50 trim. If money is right this year, hope to hit 400whp mark this year, I did 311whp last year on 14psi. My buddy got a celica and drop a 3rd gen JDM 3sge. Well, if you need any help, feel free to ask, I'll do what I can to help. I see You posted in Midwest meet, you going to make it this year? Me n my buddy, plan on making it this year. Damn, it's been a while Tao. Yeah, planning on going to the meet, but it'll be in my 05 Camry with some mods. Should plan a road trip down there. The past 2 years I've always said I was going, but never came through. This year though! See if I can grab some guys too, if not pack my car up.

Did you ever invest in a e153 tranny for your traction problem?

No, still running ths s54 tranny, I'll keep running it until I break it or can't hold up anymore. I crank up the boost to max 17pst, should be around 340whp with 111 race gas, hold up all summer no problem. My 2 goal this year is to upgrade to stand alone ecu, and new clutch. Maybe change the look a little bit. Repaint my rims, found a guy selling black floor linner and leather seat, thinking about picking them up. You going to rockfalls this year? Well, when meet is coming up soon here, too many things I'll like to get done. I'll like to come check out how your project going? Let me know when you have time.

hope you fellas make it out. I'm coming from milwaukee, but i doubt our paths would cross to get a pre meet going and drive down

It's official, I'm definitely going since I took the days off. You're closer to Illinois as a starting point. My plan was to drive down Friday night around 1 AM and get there by 10-11 AM Saturday. Possibly rent a hotel and come back Sunday.

Just recently moved St Paul from Green Bay, would like to meet more 6th gen celica owners up here when it starts getting nicer. Let me know about any meets or get togethers. My car is green 97 st 5 speed, needs a little tlc but she'll be in her prime soon.

Nice too have you here Tou Bee. Love to add you to the list of 6gen owner in MN. We'll let you know when weather gets better soon here, for any meet. Hello there. If you need any ST parts lmk. I still have a decent chunk left. Cold air intake for the 7afe, strut tower bar to clear the 7afe, the head portion of the engine block and misc units and sensors, even quite a few interior parts / panels and exterior stuff.



Hey, were you guys planning to leave Thursday night? Or Friday morning/afternoon/evening?

Still not sure, If everything plan out right. Maybe early to late Friday morning to Chicago, We plan tour ago the city, also hope to check out any midway type gathering in Chicago. I know few guys through my work, that live in Chicago area. So, hope they'll some us around. Then stay the night and drive down to meet on Sat. We'll let you know as time get closer. Hope to get a Gopro by then to record the trip.

Cracked leather driver seat from a GT and a near mint passenger leather seat to go along with it. How about 50 bucks for the passenger seat and the driver seat comes with it free.
